Helpfulness of staff. Bar food was good
The bedding was a disgrace. I have dust sheets in better condition. The room was like something from The Shining. Could count the springs on the mattress. £100 a night room only. Doesn’t even come close to Premier Inn standard for similar price.
Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Great location for shops, bars and train station. Dinner was really nice.
Great location, right in the centre of Ayr. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was a good size and the shower was fantastic. Very clean room. There is a car park at back of hotel but its not that large.
Meals are served in the bar downstairs and breakfast can be purchased next door at the Meridian. Overall would definitely stay here again.
Bed was a little springy for us.
Clean, tidy, and food is good, staff friendly and helpful.
Everything good except music noise from nearby pub, although hotel can do very little about this.
Friendly helpful staff and the location is great.
All the stairs where a bit much for me bur coyld not fault anything else.
Staff were friendly it's got a very good bar and a pub 5 doors down called the Twa dogs. Room service was good bathroom was modern.
The TV was tiny, shower head was not moverable apart from that value for money.
Excellent close to train station
A little dated but spotless
It was nice and clean if not a bit dated

Beds
Close to the railway station and the centre of town.
Bus stop nearby.
Comfortable room.
Nothing in particular.
Location
Beds a bit small. Our room at the back next to a pub with live music until midnight. However we were moved to another room upon request. Staff very helpful especially Sharon on reception who was excellent.
Good facilities.
Bit old fashioned. Small bed.
Bit expensive for room only.
Ideal for the town centre
Nothing
Very good staff very friendly, good bar area easy check in .
Bathroom tiling very good but no shower attachment and very little hot water only two inches of hot water in bath then ran cold hopeless. The basic need in a hotel room is hot water for a shower or a bath we had neither .The windows need some serious attention and cleaning also all the gull poo on the glass not very nice.No hairdryer but a trouser press who uses a trouser press..? All this for a £150.
Location was good
Noise from the pub 2 doors down
