Für absolute Ruhe und Erholung Hotel Arvenbüel wählen.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war excellent.Das Hotel ist top gelegen mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf die Berge.Nachts absolute Ruhe.Alle Angestellten waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Wlan nur in der Lobby und nicht auf dem Zimmer (für uns nicht entscheidend).Kissen für uns zu hoch.

Huge ice cream portions with a view
Pros:

While never stayed in the hotel, visited their sunny terrace twice after hikes in the area. It is a great spot to enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains.
Had the local cider and their Romanoff ice cream bowl which was a huge portion with super fresh strawberries, a perfect post-hike treat.

Wunderbar, wir kommen wieder.
Pros:

Feines Frühstück mit allem was das Herz begehrt, Toplage mit Rundumsicht auf die Berge, ruhig, am Ende der Welt. Super Ausgangslage für Wanderungen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Cons:

Das Fensterglas ist milchig, das stört die Sicht. Doch vom Balkon aus ist die Sicht sensationell.

Ich werde wiederkommen.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, insbesondere das hausgebackene Brot, die Ingwer shots, Säfte, ausgezeichnete Wurst u. Käsewaren. Auch das Abendessen war bodenständig u. sehr gut.
Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet, wunderbarer Blick vom Balkon auf die Glarner Alpen.
Perfekte Verbindung mit Bus u. Bahn nach Rapperswil u. Zürich.
Hoteleigene Garage.

Cons:

Ich habe nichts zu beanstanden.

Es war alles super
Pros:

Schon etwas älter, aber: grosses Zimmer, sehr sauber, kleine Küche im Zimmer, grosser Balkon, gutes Essen, nettes Personal und sehr gemütlich.

Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Cons:

Die Speisekarte könnte man vielleicht einmal überarbeiten.

Authentic, cozy hotel high up in the mountains.
Pros:

Authentic, cozy hotel. Lovely staff, large rooms with comfortable beds. Loved the warm sunny balcony. Restaurant has beautiful sweeping views, serving authentic Swiss meals. Exceptional location, many hikes accessible from the hotel, and a short drive down to Weesen and the lake.

Cons:

There is no wifi in rooms, only in common areas - suited us fine, but the teenagers weren't too pleased.

Good 3 star hotel and a great spot in the mountains, ideal to start hiking, nice terrace with great scenic view, pretty good breakfast, spacious rooms, helpful and friendly staff
