Our host, Upali, is the nicest guy in a country full of extremely nice people. He was super helpful in organizing travel to and from the hotel and from Ella. He scooted us up to Little Adam's Peak so we could run up and down before our train arrived.🚃

The breakfast was ridiculous, so much fresh fruit and some eggs, coffee and hoppers to boot. Views were super sick. You can watch tourists risk their lives dangling from the 9 Arches Bridge and dodging trains. Wish wr had stayed longer but we wouldn't stay anywhere else! Just a great time.

Herşey çok güzeldi, sırf manzarası için bile bu otel tercih edilebilir. Kahvaltımız istediğimiz saatte balkonda hazırdı. Oda temizdi ve sivrisinek yoktu. Otel sahibi bizi kendi tuk tuku ile merkeze götürüp getirdi, transferimizi ayarladı. İlgisi için ona teşekkür ederiz.

Absolutely everything..but especially our host! Upali made our stay one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. From his freshly prepared (delicious) breakfasts,to dropping us off and collecting us in his Tuktuk, to giving us valuable information on the passing train times and local hikes/walks.

The cabin has incredible views overlooking the 9 arch bridge and can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. It’s also close to a cafe with amazing view point (although you are staying in the BEST viewpoint ever!) and good food.

It’s well equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay, 2 nights just wasn’t enough!

Als je de kans hebt om deze locatie te boeken, MOET je dat echt doen. De host pikt je op aan het station om je naar je hut te brengen. En nadien naar alle plekken die je wil zien, zonder enige meerprijs. We waren hier voor onze huwelijksreis en we werden verrast met een mooi opgemaakt bed en een lekkere cake. De host is enorm lief en zorgt er steeds voor dat we ons goed voelden. Ook het ontbijt is meer dan in orde, met veel fruit en lokale lekkernijen. En dan heb ik nog niet gesproken over de fantastische locatie aan 1 van de bekendste bezienswaardigheden van Ella, nine arch bridge. Je kan de trein vanuit je bed zien voorbij rijden. Wij raden deze plek enorm aan!

Upali is a genuine, caring and welcoming host. He was quick to offer help and fulfil all our needs. Upali picked us up from the Main Street on arrival, dropped us off and picked us up from where we went. It saved us alot of effort in finding locations eg start point of Adam’s peak/Ella rock. He also showed us around Ella. He made our first stop in Sri Lanka a homely and enjoyable experience. Thank you Upali!

Breakfast was amazing. The spread was very good and food was fresh and yummy! We looked forward to the breakfast everyday

The location of the property was great. It faces the nine arch bridge with direct stairway access. However as we can capture the view from our balcony, there was no need to join the crowd below! Though it is a 5-10min tuktuk drive to the Main Street, Upali makes sure to bring us to and fro thus it is not an issue. The area is comfortable and quiet. Cafe soul is just a few steps away thus there is no need to go out for food if we were feeling lazy

This hidden gem is the best place to stay when visiting Ella. A private tree house style accomodation, right above the famous 9 arch bridge enables you to see everything from above, and situates you in the best spot to see the train coming through. The owners hospitality is unmatched, he generously offered to pick us up from Ella city after dinner, and bringing us back to the accomodation via tuk tuk. It was only a 10-15 walk uphill to the main road, or you could go directly down to the bridge from the front of the accommodation in approx 5 minutes and then walk to Ella city through a trail for about 20-25 minutes.

The accomodation in itself was amazing, beautiful decor, comfortable atmosphere, more great views, and well kept and clean. The breakfast we were served in the morning was a delicious spread of local fruits, hoppers, sweets, yoghurt, fresh juice and tea/coffee.

Thank you so much for your hospitality and service, this accomodation and your friendly service truly made our visit to Ella feel very special.

Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben.
Opali ist einfach großartig! Er hat uns mit seinem TukTuk überall und zu jederzeit hingefahren und abgeholt, hat uns viele Tipps gegeben und uns jeden Morgen auf der Terrasse das aller allerbeste Frühstück, das wir in Sri Lanka hatten serviert.

Everything was excellent! The owner so helpful and friendly! Very delicious breakfast includes! It’s only 5 minutes for 9 Arch bridge by steps! They provide a parking space for a car! They provide transfer service by tuc-tuc to the city center. Also you can arrange other trip where you need to!

Adorable cottage with a porch and view that makes you feel like you are one of the luckiest people in all of Sri Lanka. The owner is very kind and goes out of his way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Breakfast served right on our private porch with that view of Nine Arches Bridge is spectacular.

Der Aufenthalt bei Opali war perfekt. Die Aussicht ist einzigartig, das Frühstück super lecker, die Ausstattung top (Föhn, Kühlschrank, Shampoo, mehrere Handtücher, etc.). Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber! Opali war sehr hilfsbereit, hat uns viele Tipps gegeben, sogar mit seinem Tuktuk hat er uns jeweils in die Stadt gefahren. Wir waren sogar mit unserem eigenen Tuktuk unterwegs und die Strasse war OK. Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!!!

This was a simply beautiful property. An incredible outlook, directly over 9Arches. A wonderful shower, very hot. Very comfortable bedroom with a portable AC. The breakfasts were generous and delicious. Our host was kind, approachable and consistently went out of his way to ensure we were happy and enjoying our stay in Ella. The only improvement could be a screen door for some airflow during the night. Honestly, one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka. The staircase down to the bridge and immediate proximity of good cafes were also majorly appreciated.

Upali and his family provide such an incredible experience at Green Nature Paradise. As it’s name suggest you are in the most beautiful setting above the famous bridge, stunning sunrises and sunsets and views for miles. Watch the train several times a day, walk across the bridge and grab a delicious meal at Soul cafe just below the cabin, it’s magical. The most delicious breakfasts ever……and trips back and fourth in Upali tuk tuk……. So kind.
You won’t find better in Ella. Chill Cafe in town is sensational.

L’hôte était dévoué, gentil et avenant. L’endroit est vraiment très bien avec une vue incroyable sur le pont des neufs arches. Il est facile d’y descendre car les escaliers sont tout à côté.

What a view! The very first words out of my mouth were, “Oh my gosh, wow.” Don’t hesitate—book it.

Upali’s hospitality was exceptional. He truly spoiled us at breakfast, with something different each morning. The fish curry, in particular, was tasty.

If you like to keep your steps up while on holiday, this is the perfect place 😁 We travelled by TukTuk rental, and Upali kindly drove it to a safe spot at the top of the road for us each day.

From the accommodation, we comfortably walked to Little Adam’s Peak and into town—it’s absolutely doable, but keep that for the morning.

We also loved the visits from Kiki the dog (already missed!) and the cheeky kitty 🩷
