I loved everything about my stay here! The location with stunning views over the Nine Arch Bridge (you can walk down onto the bridge within just a few minutes), the cabin itself is gorgeous & well equipped with lots of extra little touches. The breakfast spread was generous & delicious and would be served at whatever time I liked. Upali was very kind and thoughtful, he gave some great recommendations from restaurants to somewhere I could get my laundry done. He also has a tuk tuk & a scooter and took me into town & back several times, to Little Adam’s Peak early and on a day trip to see a couple of waterfalls, a Tea Factory and Monastery, all for a very reasonable price. So not only a great host, but great guide too and safe driver, a really fun day! A 10/10 stay and I can’t wait to return😊

Amazing stay. One of the best views of Nine Arch Bridge, especially for breakfast, watching the trains pass by. Breakfast itself was one of the best we have had. The host is brilliant and looked after our every need, including dropping us wherever we needed to go and whenever we wanted to go. 10/10 for everything.
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist einfach wunderschön, mit einem grandiosen Blick auf die Nine Arch Bridge. Am Abend kann man von der Terrasse aus Flughunde und Glühwürmchen sehen. Die Unterkunft selbst war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Besonders toll war das Frühstück, das jeden Morgen frisch zubereitet und direkt auf die Terrasse gebracht wurde. Mit diesem Ausblick zu frühstücken war wirklich etwas Besonderes.
Der Gastgeber ist ein unglaublich freundlicher und herzlicher Mensch. Er hat sich jederzeit darum gekümmert, dass wir uns wohlfühlen. Mit seinem Tuk-Tuk hat er uns ganz unkompliziert nach unseren Wünschen in die Stadt oder zum Startpunkt des Little Adam’s Peak gefahren.
Als meine Frau krank wurde, hat er uns sogar zum Arzt gefahren und angeboten uns Essen in die Unterkunft zu liefern.
Wir haben uns hier rundum wohlgefühlt und würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen. Absolute Empfehlung!
We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is perfectly placed to see the 9 arches bridge and beautiful surrounds. Speculator view! Loved having breakfast on the balcony in the morning - and the breakfast was AMAZING, a feast!
The owner was very hospitable and went out of his way to make sure everything was available for a great stay and provided rides to and from Ella town if needed.
100% recommend and would definitely stay again!

La plus incroyable guest house de tous mes voyages . La situation et la vue sont dignes d un reve. Le propriétaire est ultra attentionné . Un lieu incontournable pour les amoureux de nature ( et du nine arch bridge )

Het verblijf was fantastisch!
Zowel de gastheer, die alles deed om je dat fijne verblijf te bezorgen, als het super lekkere ontbijt en daarbij nog eens zo'n uitzicht! Niet twijfelen, gewoon boeken!
Wil je naar de stad, wil je ergens een wandeling doen, wil je ook opgehaald worden na een excursie? Geef een seintje aan de gastheer en hij komt je met veel plezier ophalen met zijn tuktuk.
Dit is geen negatief puntje, maar wel eentje van aandacht: de weg naar de hut is stijl, heel stijl. Wij reden met onze eigen tuktuk en mijn man heeft daar echt een crisis gekregen (kan ook aan hem liggen - hahahaha). Toen we er eenmaal waren, hebben we de tuktuk laten staan en alles met de gastheer geregeld. De dag van vertrek heeft de gastheer onze tuktuk naar de hoofdbaan gebracht zodat wij weer zonder stress verder konden rijden.
Nejlepší přístup hostitele co jsem na Srí lance zažil. Ťuk tukem vás odveze a doveze kam chcete i několikrát. Uplne luxusní snídaně. A cesta na ubytování? Perfektní adrenalinový zážitek. Výhled samozřejmě kouzelný.
El dueño un encanto. Nos recogió en la estación y en otros lugares de Ella (por ejemplo cuando terminamos de cenar). Súper simpático y atento. El bungalow tiene unas vistas impresionantes y bajando unos escalones ya estabas en las vías.

Als we één puntje van ‘kritiek’ mogen geven, is dat het verblijf in de bergen ligt dus je dit alleen kan bereiken met een Tuktuk. Het is wel een ‘bumpy ride’. Maar hoort gewoon bij de beleving!

La casetta ha una vista fantastica sul nine arch bridge, puoi osservare il passaggio del treno direttamente dal terrazzino, per scendere sui binari invece ci metti praticamente 2 minuti, anche il cafe soul è praticamente a 10 scale dall’alloggio. La colazione ci veniva fornita ogni mattina ad un orario scelto da noi, abbondante e preparata al momento dal proprietario, che è veramente disponibile in tutto. La posizione è a 5 minuti dal centro e lui si offre di accompagnarti con il suo tuk-tuk,persona davvero splendida,si vede che ci tiene tanto a fare bella figura. Grazie Upali siamo stati benissimo.

Fabulous location with verandah overlooking the Nine Arch Bridge. Clean well appointed chalet type room with a kettle and good selection of tea, coffee etc. The host is a lovely man who prepared an excellent and extensive breakfast, he also kindly gave us a lift to and from Ella in his tuktuk. Wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night.
