Central Usk
Unfortunately I booked this for my son and his partner. They were in an attic room and due to the extreme heat were told to have the door open due to there being no windows. When they returned from a family event the room next door had the door open and they. Pops see people in bed
The room was very comfortable and well laid out with a great aspect onto the town square. A lot of thought had gone into the bathroom which for a traditional building was very well designed with good shower and space. Breakfast was from a small fridge in the room but had everything you could want including fruit yoghurt, porridge, juice, bottled water as well as the usual tea & coffee. The bed was very comfortable and all bedding of very good quality and thoughtfully a good working fan was provided. Excellent value. This really sets the standard for small inn accommodation. Add to that Usk is a delightful town and sitting on a warm evening at a table out front in the square had the feel of a French cafe !

The comfort of the room. It was clean and modern. I could park right outside. There was a mini fridge stocked with a bottle of milk, 3 yoghuts, etc. A really lovely touch.

I thought the breakfast was great as l didn't want a full English. Very comfy bed very clean and a very welcomed fan in the room as the weather was very warm! Very friendly welcoming staff.

There wasn't a served breakfast, just DIY breakfast, though it was ok, but not much of it. I would expect better for this room price.

Given an attic room with temperature in the 30's and no windows or ventilation so to say a little warm all night (even with large fan) is quite an understatement.
Great location, right on the square; it had an almost Mediterranean feel to it especially with the hot weather.
The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and I was in the room at the front directly above everyone talking outside, so it wasn’t very conducive with having an early night.
Village pub with a typically welsh feel. Great food, lovely beer garden with comfy seats and more seats out front. Food was great, really comfy bed and there was a fan in the room.

Wonderful location right on Town Square in the lovely town of Usk. A really welcoming bar, good food and friendly attentive staff.
We've been many times to this place, more normally in spring and autumn. This time it was summer and the World Cup was on. So it's busier, no less friendly or welcoming just a bit busier than we're used to.
