Nice room. Online customer service needs a serious upgrade!
Pros:

Very nicely decorated room. Central location. Two small fridges available in the room. Despite being next to a busy street, earbuds were enough to keep the noise down. Great air conditioning. Airport transfer available. Good restaurant downstairs.

Cons:

I requested an airport transfer, as they offered it, and they confirmed it. I messaged them on this website24wallops that I had arrived, but I didn't get a response. I emailed them directly, no response. I tried to call them several times, nobody picked it up. The only taxi app in the country didn't work on my phone, and I had no local cash (American dollars) on me. It was very difficult to find a taxi who said they would accept card payment, and in the end they didn't. Thankfully I had Australian dollars on me that the driver begrudgingly accepted. I missed half of an important phonecall because I didn't arrive in time. After all this ordeal, they didn't even apologize. There was some issue with their phone, and apparently only the manager can see the booking messages or emails, who had already left by then. The reception should monitor booking messages and emails at all times, and reach out there to the person who requested an airport transfer, so that phone availability would not be an obstacle. There's no elevator, so the porter automatically took my suitcase upstairs to the first floor on his shoulder. He took it inside my bedroom, then stood there looking at me, presumably waiting to be tipped. I offered a small bottle of wine, he didn't want it, and still stood there. I think it's inappropriate to pressure people into tipping, especially for a service they didn't even ask for.

Cons:

Staff in restaurant for breakfast were not very friendly. They ran out of black tea two days in a row

Lovely old style colonial hotel
Pros:

I loved the old colonial feel about the place with doormen in uniform always on the door. Which was fantastic to ask them to get get your luggage up and down the stairs. Very attentive staff

Cons:

No lifts. The room was quite noisy with some sort of cooling fan outside but this did shut off around 10pm.
The swimming pool was lovely but hard to access as you had to climb stairs to the first floor then climb downstairs on outside stairs to the pool

O pequeno-almoço nem sempre era fresco, por exemplo os ovos mexidos ou bolos, quando sobravam do dia anterior eram usados. Isso é totalmente inadequado.

Hotel z koloniální doby...
Dýchne na Vás atmosféra té doby....dům je udržovaný a v pořádku...počitejte s tím, že hotel nemá výtah...my jsme zvolili pro jeho polohu, kdy je z něko blízko k centru, i k moři a promenádě kolem něho...
Snídaně byla chutná a dobrá...
Personál byl v pohodě...
Děkujeme Vám za hezký pobyt.

Zapraný flek na ložním povlečení...
Chápu, že si toho nemusel personál při praní všimnout, ale byl docela velký...
Jde o to, že když by tento hotel měl být číslem jedna mezi hotely v Dili, je potřeba si na takovéto "detalily" dát pozor...
Ložní pradlo v takovém hotelu musí být v pořádku...

Lovely old Timor-Leste vibe, happy to stay again but wifi and breakfast options need improvement.
Pros:

Charming lobby - spacious, lovely old vibe, comfortable chairs, soft jazz music, friendly staff. Spacious clean bedrooms. Location provided oppportunities for walking around. Lovely swimming pool area. Whole place had a nice old Timor-Leste feeling. Coffee was good. Value for money was good.

Cons:

Wifi was very poor indeed and definately needs updating. Breakfast options were very limited and were not varied.
