A magnificent retreat carrying one to medieval times - a veritable fortress at a doorstep of the most formidable abbey in Europe.

Rustic yet nutritious breakfast accompanied by one passing an exam in basic French (be prepared barmen around the small and beloved town of Cluny would do the same).
