I would return and recommend this hotel to others coming to Largs.
Pros:

Good Location. Good Breakfast.
Good bus links to centre in case of bad weather but easy walking distance in good weather.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Clean room with comfortable twin beds.

Cons:

Such a dated room and small tv that I cannot believe the expensive price. worth half of what I paid

Breakfast was amazing. The location was a bit too far from town

Cons:

The bathroom was so dated . Looked like something from the 70s and the size of the tv was nothing short of shocking. . Very disappointed for the price paid

Ideal stopover on our trip to the west Highlands

Bar on site.
Friendly lady who booked us in and on bar.

Cons:

Rooms tired (decor).
Thin walls meant we could hear loud TV in nearby rooms until very late.
Shower was old and not very wet!

There were 4 of us in the party and we all had a positive experience at Willowbankl
Pros:

The breakfast was lovely and it was nice to have table service. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was spotless.

Cons:

Probably if I was being picky the room was a wee but dated but that wouldn’t put me off returning. Everything that mattered to me ie the staff the cleanliness and the food were very good. Nearly forgot the bed was comfortable too.

Just very basic wud nvr recommend it to any family or friends
Pros:

Was nice breakfast , location a 15min walk to town centre ok in a nice sunny day

Cons:

I think the host cud hav bn a bit more welcoming never introduced himself or told us anything about evening meals or showed us wer the restaurant was nvr mentioned anything about breakfasts we had to say to him bar nvr opened till 1pm and closed at 11 pm he cudnt get the Tv wurking in the lounge so had to go to our room to watch Scotland game he just never made any effort to ask if we njoyed our stay or just general chit chat he wasn’t rude or anything but cud hav bn a lot more welcoming and friendly
