Very modern and clean
Perfect
Way up in the top of the building
Stairs no lift
Asked to check out at 10am ???
Lousy bathroom so small you couldn’t use it realistically
The decor is beautiful and location perfect for distance to city centre.
Check in - staff weren’t really helpful just given keys and they was it so had to figure out the rest. It’s above a noisy club so music until early hours - I don’t think it’s that clear on booking.com so bare that in mind. Car park behind charges £37 for 12 hours so I would suggest trying to find a cheaper place to park
Nothing we didn’t stay
Everything. Was dirty
Well situated, clean, quirky!
No towels!! And no staff around to ask for any…it didn’t feel right to go into the bar and ask for towels! This was the only downside!
the location and our particular room had a terrace directly overlooking lower briggate, we had intended to go out drinking for the evening, but sitting out on the terrace with all the windows open it really did feel like we were in the middle of the night out without leaving the room.
the room was well presented and felt really quite opulent and way above the quality expected from the price paid
the only issue was the downside to the positives previously mentioned, if you were intending to get a good night's sleep, forget it, lol, but if you're after a good night's sleep then its clearly the wrong place.
Location is a novelty
My pillows smelt funky. Either not dried or washed correctly. Room needs a bit of maintenance.
We absolutely love this hotel and the bar downstairs was fantastic when we stayed there was karaoke absolutely loved it would go back again in fact we can't wait we love the themes of the rooms
There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like the person that was dealing with us was so friendly and so nice show this all around told us about what was happening later on at night had a great time wouldn't change anything
Rooms were amazing clean and staff very helpful
Style
Needs aircon or fans in the rooms on the top floor very uncomfortable in hot temperatures
