Une très belle expérience
Pros:

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour et avons particulièrement apprécié la qualité de l’accueil et l’attention portée aux clients.
Dès notre arrivée, nous avons eu la très agréable surprise d’être surclassés, puis nous avons encore bénéficié d’une attention particulière en fin de séjour. Ce sont des gestes qui font réellement la différence et qui montrent le soin apporté à l’expérience des clients.
Mais au-delà de l’hôtel, ce sont surtout les équipes qui nous ont marqués. À la réception, au restaurant, au service comme à l’entretien, nous avons rencontré des personnes souriantes, disponibles, attentionnées et très professionnelles et cela contribue énormément à la qualité du séjour.
L’hôtel est très bien entretenu, agréable et idéalement situé. Les espaces sont soignés, l’ambiance est élégante tout en restant simple et conviviale, et l’ensemble est parfaitement adapté à des vacances où l’on souhaite avant tout se détendre et profiter.

Cons:

S’il fallait mentionner un petit point d’amélioration, ce serait la disponibilité des transats autour de la piscine. Certains sont réservés dès le matin et restent parfois occupés toute la journée, ce qui rend leur accès difficile. Une réflexion sur ce système pourrait être intéressante afin que chacun puisse davantage en profiter. À l’inverse, nous avons beaucoup apprécié le système de réservation des transats à la plage, qui sont attribués aux chambres : c’est très pratique et permet de profiter sereinement de cet espace.

Pohodlné postele, moderní a kvalitní zařízení pokoje, kávovar s kapslemi, láhev bublinek a talíř ovoce jako pozornost při příjezdu. Hotel má vlastní pláž s lehátky, které jsou bezplatně k používání. Tři bazény, vždy jsme si našli místo na odpočinek. Moc dobré jídlo v hlavní bufetové restauraci a vynikající menu v restauraci Veranda. Všichni zaměstnanci jsou usměvaví a připraveni pomoci. Perfektní pobyt...

Cons:

Overall cleanliness of the facilities (common areas like elevators, children’s playground filled with bird feathers and poo, kids playroom with old dusty toys, had to go to reception to ask for room service every day, as previously came back from beach for kid’s nap to the room not cleaned and all towels on the floor on two occasions).
Food (repetitive, often tasteless, boiled veggies with taste of chlorine, drinking water is tap with heavy chlorine taste, limited bottled water per person per day, guests feeding stray cats at the back of the restaurant).
Beach towel management (towel exchange far from beach and in limited hours, resulting in you constantly having to carry the towels up the room and back and use yesterday, potentially wet and sandy, towels in the morning before the exchange window opens).
Some staff members were borderline rude (apart from the German student lady, who always smiled and was very kind).

- considering this was an all-inclusive, it was very disappointing that bar drinks quality liquors were an up charge.
- The one night restaurant option that you can reserve had mediocre food at best. The cafeteria food at the resort was much better.

overall, lovely beach resort. A fair value really needs to step up their game at the Italian restaurant.
Pros:

Location was excellent. The grounds were very nice as were the rooms. The beach was very nice sitting under the umbrellas. The food in the buffet was very good.

Cons:

The exclusive Italian restaurant was not good at all. Some of it wasn’t even palatable. Such a shame since the location was nice and quiet.

Pros:

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine au High Beach Resort de Malia. La chambre était parfaite, la plage très agréable et très proche (avec l'avantage exceptionnel pour notre chambre de transats réservés), les buffets généreux et diversifiés sur une semaine, les installations efficaces, l'animation présente sans être envahissante. La localisation permet également de visiter sans souci Héraclion, les sites minoéns de Cnossos et de Malia, ou la vieille ville de Malia. Mais surtout le personnel de l'hôtel fait honneur à l'hospitalité grecque, tout le monde est très agréable et très disponible, que ce soit à l'accueil, aux restaurants, aux bars, au service de ménage, au spa, etc. Mention spéciale à Didi, qui pilote le spa, et à Théophilos, au restaurant, pour leur extrême gentillesse, ainsi qu'aux différentes personnes du buffet et du bar. L'établissement est bien fréquentée.

Cons:

Si la plage est parfaitement calme le matin, les établissements voisins sont un peu plus bruyants l'aprés-midi (mais ce n'est pas du ressort du High Beach Resort).

Amazing place for Celiac disease

היינו 5 חברים בני 17, הצוות היה מדהים ! אדיבים ונחמדים, ונתנו הרגשה מאד נוחה לאורך כל השהות.
המיקום מעולה, ליד כל המועדונים, הבריכות של המלון ממש שוות, וגם הבר.
הזמנו דרך המלון גם את האטרקציות, זה היה מאד נח.

Cons:

ארוחת הבוקר פחות מותאמת לקהל הישראלי (גם היהודי וגם המוסלמי),
אבל היתה עשירה ומגוונת למי שאוכל הכל ללא הגבלות מסויימות :)

There was no problem during the stay. Everything was fine. A beautiful hotel with a beautiful garden right by the sea. Excellent access by all the staff from reception, restaurant and bar service to room service. At the beginning of the season (a week during Easter) the hotel was well occupied. The food in the restaurants was excellent and everything was plentiful. The day before our arrival, Crete was hit by sand from the Sahara. It was a disaster for housekeeping, but they managed everything to perfection, removing the consequences even during our stay. Our Deluxe room was nice and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. The evening sitting at the bar with an animation program was very pleasant. There were 4 swimming pools in the area, the one closest to the sea was heated, which we appreciated in April. In the summer season Malia will probably be very noisy, but at the beginning of the season it was quiet. Throughout our stay my wife and I got to know Crete and coming back to this hotel is like a balm for the soul. On the evening return to the hotel we hoped to park in the hotel parking lot, which is very busy in the evening, but we always somehow managed. This hotel I highly and without any doubt recommend to everyone!

Pros:

La qualité des installations, la propreté, la proximité avec la plage, la gentillesse du personnel, le restaurant grec avec très bonne cuisine et magnifique vue (mention spéciale au serveur Theofilos).

Cons:

Bon buffet de manière générale, mais à mon goût manque de spécialités grecques. C’est pourquoi, nous avons beaucoup apprécié le restaurant grec.
