Our stay at Villa Jordan in Ohrid was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their kindness, professionalism, and warm hospitality.

The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, and it was clear that cleanliness is a top priority throughout the property. The swimming pool was also crystal clear, well-maintained, and a perfect place to relax.

The location is excellent, offering both peace and easy access to everything Ohrid has to offer. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the amazing staff, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience.

We highly recommend Villa Jordan to anyone visiting Ohrid and will definitely return. Thank you for making our vacation so enjoyable!

Toplocatie, kamers zonder balkon geen aanrader
Pros:

De accommodatie is zeer schoon en werd elke dag schoongemaakt, bedden opgemaakt etc. Het zwembad is lekker maar je loopt ook binnen een minuut naar het meer voor een plons. Parkeren is goed geregeld, paar minuten lopen vanaf het hotel.

Cons:

We hadden zelf niet goed genoeg gekeken tijdens het boeken maar vonden het jammer dat we een kamer zonder balkon aan de achterkant hadden. Helemaal als gezin met een klein kind dat eerder moet slapen, is de 3 persoonskamer wel wat “opgesloten” zonder een zitje of balkon en de 3 bedden in één ruimte. We zouden gezinnen met jonge kinderen dan ook aanraden tijdens het boeken goed te controleren of de kamer een balkon heeft en aan de voorkant met uitzicht over het meer zit.

Amazing holiday - highly recommended
Pros:

Everything. The staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpful. The pool area was lovely with plenty of sunbeds, the location is great - 10 mins walk from the centre of Ohrid, and the rooms were big, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We miss it already and will definitely return.

4 nights stay in beautiful Ohrid
Pros:

1-very nice swimming pool with plenty of loungers and plenty of free towels
2-very good air con (if functioning/read below comments)
3-alright location
4-clean rooms

Cons:

1-the room we were initially given had broken air con (the staff member didn't even mention it, only when I went down to inquire did she concede that it was broken and wanted to fob us off with a fan! I insisted on replacement of the room, she managed to do that although we got a two bed instead of a triple which for us was fine)
2-attitude of the staff member who checked us in, she never smiled, was abrupt and very defensive, not a single welcoming remark or offer to share information about Ohrid, what a shame as she spoke good English
3-no kettle in room
4-dining area/indoor restaurant closed/not accessible, very strange as they could have easily served breakfast there for the guests
5-we were scammed by the taxi driver who was arranged by the hotel, he didn't run his meter, should never have been recommended by the hotel as you would accept them to know which companies are honest!
6-don't get put off completely by the above remarks, this place still ticks most boxes but hopefully staff change their treatment of the guests, it is not a hotel

Hotel carino , nulla di più
Pros:

Hotel a 20 minuti di cammino dal centro e di fronte al lago, si trova però in una zona con prato e camminata pedonale ma non con le spiagge attrezzate che sono a qualche km

Cons:

Struttura un po' vecchia, senza colazione per il servizio offerto il prezzo è caro rispetto agli standard del posto . Non ci è stato dato il letto matrimoniale ma due singoli attaccati un po' scomodi

We chose to stay here based on the glowing reviews, but after our experience, it’s hard to believe they reflect reality.

We paid $852 for our stay and received less than the bare minimum. Not even a complimentary bottle of water was provided, which is something you’d expect from accommodation at this price point.

The worst part of our stay was how we were treated by the staff. We made a large group booking, with everyone staying in and paying for their own separate rooms. Naturally, we all spent time together around the pool. Because we were a group, one person would grab towels, another would bring pool toys, and we’d share carrying things back and forth. Despite every single person being a registered guest, we were accused of bringing outside people into the villa to use the pool, which was completely false.

To make matters worse, we were then accused of ruining the pool towels. They were used exactly as intended—to dry ourselves after swimming. We have no idea what damage they were referring to, yet instead of approaching the situation professionally, we were called “pathetic” and treated with complete disrespect.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was unwelcoming. The woman at reception never once greeted us warmly or made us feel like valued guests. We only used our rooms to sleep, as we spent our days by the pool before showering and heading out, so it’s not as though we caused any disturbance or excessive wear to the property.

For the amount we paid, we expected good hospitality and basic courtesy. Instead, we left feeling accused, judged and completely unwelcome.

I would never stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. I sincerely hope future travellers read both the positive and negative reviews before deciding to book, because our experience was incredibly disappointing and nowhere near what was advertised.

Wil je een super locatie met alle faciliteiten, zoek dan niet verder!
Pros:

Voor ons voelt villa Jordan als thuiskomen. Lieve familie die het hotel runt, niks is hun teveel. Er is een heerlijk zwembad bij, met voldoende ligbedden, ruime comfortabele kamers, direct aan het meer, en op loopafstand van centrum en haven. 2 supermarkten op loopafstand in de buurt, met ruim assortiment, lekkere bakker op 3 minuten loopafstand. De beste pizzeria van Ohrid direct naast de deur, en meteen aan de andere kant, ligt het ene na het andere goede restaurant.
Kortom centraler, met zwembad, meer, restaurants, supermarkt en bakker kun je niet liggen. En wij komen al jaren in Ohrid en kunnen het weten.

Cons:

Helemaal niks, want voor ons zijn daar geen minpunten.
