Pros:

A fabulous place to escape for a few days and enjoy the beach and surroundings. The olive trees around the pool are a great dappled shade on a hot day. Fresh, tasty food .

Cons:

Make sure you put into Google to go via Roses and Cala Montjoi or it can send you up to a military zone/ closed road that is a 1 hour detour.

Pros:

Incredible location, relatively quiet beach in August which is very rare in Spain. Very good value for money. Gorgeous olive grove patio.
We loved how environmentally conscious they were, they truly practice sustainable tourism.

Cons:

It was all very good..
They could send a reminder email about how to access the hotel, not to use the GPS but instead follow the instructions they send in the confirmation email.

Wunderschön gelegenes Hotel für Wassersport und Entspannen mit kulinarischen Freuden
Pros:

Jocols ist genau richtig abgelegen und hat alles war das Herz zum Tauchen (eigene Tauchbasis SSI, grüsst Jan), schnorcheln vom Strand aus oder im Meer, Kajak und SUP braucht. Bietet sich Zwischenstopp auf dem Ronda92 z.B. von Cadaques her nach Rosas oder als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen nach Cadaques (2.5h/Weg) oder Rosas (4h + abholen durch Boot des Joncols vereinbaren).
Die Zimmer sind renoviert und sehr sauber. Für längere Aufenthalte entweder Vollpension buchen oder bei Halbpension punktuell Mittagessen nach Lust und Laune vor Ort vereinbaren. Was man vermissen würde noch in Rosas einkaufen (Snacks, Rauchzeug etc.). Frisches Trinkwasser aus eigener Quelle im Zimmer oder an der Bar immer greifbar.
Frühstück ist umfassend und komplett. Nachtessen einfallsreich und mit viel Liebe gekocht. Eigene Weine inkl. "vin del mar" im Meer gealtert. Erstes Hotel an der Costa Brava welches Biospère zertifiziert ist. Personal herzlich, kompetent, immer freundlich. Medien Detox > der WLAN Empfang ist limitiert auf die Front des Hotels inkl. Lounge und Swimmingpool. Ohne TV perfekter Ort um für ein "Detox".
Anfahrt mit Auto von Rosas über Montjoi (12km asphaltiertes Strässchen) ab dann 6km "Dirtroad", holprig, teils eng, aber gut ohne 4x4 machbar.

Séjour un peu court qui nous a permis tout de même d’apprécier les lieux.
Pros:

Le cadre et la décoration. Ainsi que la restauration excellente et l’amabilité des personnels. Hôtel prêt de la plage.

Cons:

Difficile d’accès. Difficulté pour visiter les environs mis à part de partir en randonnée. Les draps étaient un peu juste. Chambre simple mais fonctionnelle. Le spa ne fonctionnait pas. Dommage.

Espectacular
Pros:

La cena era exquisita y hecha cada noche por un chef.
La ubicación es maravillosa aunque el camino no sea el mejor pero vale muchísimo la pena ya que cuando llegas ves el paraíso.
La habitación simple pero con lo necesario y con un balcón grande con unas vistas que cortan la respiración.

Cons:

Lo único que diría que el desayuno lo vi con poca variedad de cosas.

Un lugar muy especial, lejos de todo
Pros:

La ubicación, los espacios, la tranquilidad, la comida era buena (aunque muy cara)

Cons:

La música un poco pachanguera que pusieron en el chiringuito el sábado por la tarde creo que desmerecía un poco el lugar.
Entiendo que los olivos son maravillosos y que además hacen sombra y permiten que se haga el aceite de oliva del hotel, que es fantástico, pero las ramas tan bajas hacen difícil la circulación. Creo que algunas ramas se podrían podar de manera que los árboles crezcan más en altura...sobre todo en las zonas más de paso

Pros:

Il s'agissait de notre 4ème séjour à la Cala Joncols. Cet hôtel est un véritable havre de paix où l'on oublie tout une fois garé. Nous avons pris la pension complète, car la cuisine est de très grande qualité. Nous avions une chambre avec vue sur mer, un petit balcon et une salle de bains confortables. Les chambres ont été récemment rénovées. Nous avons pu profiter de la location de kayak de mer et des sorties en plongée organisée directement au départ de l'hôtel. Encore merci à Michäel et à toute son équipe!
