Great stopover en route to Scotland
Pros:

Conveniently located at Tebay services. Easy to get breakfast in the service station. Spacious room, good shower.

Cons:

A little noisy with people chatting outside the window during the night.

A little overpriced? Maybe, but a lovely stay
Pros:

As always, Westmoreland properties are considerate to their environment.
Rooms are large with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Breakfast is very good and will meet everyone’s requirements, especially those that require GF options.

Cons:

We stayed at the end of a heatwave and it would have been nice to have a fan or similar in the room. The sun shone on our window making it difficult to get any cooling breeze into the room.

Good for one or two night stay.
Pros:

Great convenient location close to motorway and lovely countryside.

Cons:

A pity the rooms didn’t have walk in showers. My disabled friend found it almost impossible to get a full shower as it was difficult to step over the bath side.
Mixup over invoicing but eventually resolved.

A Unique Community Hotel
Pros:

A fantastic independant hotel, totally tied into the local community. The restaurant was beautiful with a fantstic view. The room was lovely and the bath and shower controls obvious and positive. Parking is spacious and secure. We chose it just because of it's location off the motorway we will return to it because of it's wonderful features and staff. Lots of USB plugs and comfy chairs as well.
