Kainoa Guesthouse

Kainoa Guesthouse is definitely better than any hotel you might find arround. You will have plenty of space to rest from your unending walks in Tokyo or to store your additional luggage(s) that you might buy after buying too much random stuff that Tokyo has to offer.
The owner is very nice and available if you have any question.
I will definitely come back next time I am in Tokyo!

Camera molto accogliente e pulita. Grande cura nei dettagli. La stanza da bagno con un a doccia enorme ê molto confortevole.

Firstly, a huge thanks to Nick and Yuko for the wonderful accommodation.
Though we did not meet the hosts, there was constant and extremely clear communication throughout our stay. We managed to find the place easily with the clear directions provided by the hosts, and we were also able to check-in into the room quite easily. Having landed very late in the night, and considering we had a 12-year old and it was our first time in Japan, this was the part that we were most worried about - but again, thanks to Yuko and Nick, this turned out to be a piece of cake
The room was clean. The beds were neat and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean with sufficient towels and toiletries as well
We had a complementary cleaning done for our room since we stayed for a week. This happened during the middle of our stay and, to be honest, we were pleasantly surprised by the offer and are extremely thankful as well
The train stop was just a 5 min walk and Otsuka station was just a 10 min walk. Made it very convenient for travel
Convenience stores were nearby and it helped to stock up on water and snacks. There were a couple of nice restaurants nearby as well - just a 5 min walk away. More options were available near Otsuka station (including McDonalds) and hence this made it very convenient as well
Coin laundry facilities were close by too

A unique thing that I found was that the hosts had kept a stock of essentials in the lobby - including water, snacks and laundry detergent. You just had to pickup whatever you needed, and then drop the money to "pikachu" (which was the coin box)! This is a wonderful initiative and is extremely helpful for new travellers like me who landed so late in the night.

Overall it was a fabulous experience and they absolutely lived up to the wonderful feedback and reviews that are posted on this platform. Thanks once again Yuko and Nick, and if we come back to Tokyo, its an absolute no-brainer as to where we were going to stay!

Appartamento semplice ma molto funzionale e pulito, zona comoda con la stazione di otsuka. Il secondo letto (aggiuntivo) era comodo. Host pronta e gentile nel fornire informazioni e facilitazioni. Ottima esperienza!

muy cómodo, amplio y baño en perfecto estado y reformado. camas cómodas. ubicación tranquila y cerca de la estación para llegar al centro... además los propietarios nos guardaron maletas hasta irnos al aeropuerto, lo que nos ayudó mucho.

Great location and great room, had an excellent stay at kainoa guesthouse. Would recommend for those going on holiday in tokyo. Room was clean and very spacious!

Communicatie met eigenaar verliep perfect. We werden opgehaald bij de bushalte.
De lokatie is vlak bij een station aan de ringlijn van Tokyo zodat alle lokatie makkelijk en snel te berieken waren.

Super quartier très familial et dynamique. Offre toutes les commodités à pieds. Metro pas loin pour rejoindre rapidement les points touristiques de Tokyo. Logement tout confort dans une rue calme.
