Restay Frontier (Adult Only)

We had travelled around Japan previously (from the UK) and seen how the standard room size was quite small, so were looking for a larger room to accomodate a two week stay in Tokyo, and this place was EXACTLY what we needed. We would be inclined to stay here again if we were ever again staying in Tokyo as a couple.

First off, the location is impeccable. Right next to the train station with main lines to very easily get around Tokyo. Also, there is a Family Mart right by the hotel and a 7-11 only a minute away to get your konbini snacks. There's also various general supply shops, supermarkets and fast food places around- perfect for grabbing little bits you might need.

The hotel itself was wonderful. Check in was easy. The staff were polite and friendly, and English was good! The room was massive! The wetroom (shower/bath) we had within our room was bigger than some rooms we have stayed in at "fancier" hotels in Japan. The housekeeping was wonderful with a regualrly refreshed & tidy room, including fresh towels and water (just make sure you mention if you want your room cleaned as you drop your key off for the day!)
There were so many little things that Hotel Frontier had/ did that made our trip wonderful. From the water dispenser on our way out to keep us hydrated, to the free laundry and drying, to the staff very helpfully lending us a luggage scale as we were trying to get packed up on the last night. There were lovely toiletries provided and it was nice to have the option of free coffee in the foyer and room service.

Before the trip, we were slightly reserved about the love hotel aspect of the hotel, but we need not have worried. It is not sleazy at all! As other reviews mentioned, longer stay visitors seem to be on the upper floors, and we did not really interact at all with any other guests at the hotel.

Una estancia de 10, totalmente recomendable

Recomiendo este hotel sin ninguna duda. Ha sido todo un acierto elegirlo para nuestro viaje a Tokio y, si volviéramos, repetiríamos sin pensarlo.

Está situado en una zona tranquila, junto a la estación de Otsuka, desde donde la línea Yamanote permite desplazarse por Tokio de forma rápida y muy cómoda. Para nosotros, la ubicación ha sido perfecta para disfrutar de la ciudad sin renunciar a descansar en una zona más tranquila.

Desde el primer momento, todo el personal ha sido increíblemente amable, atento y servicial. Nos guardaron las maletas antes de la hora del check-in y nos ayudaron a rellenar el formulario para el servicio de envío de equipaje, que se puede gestionar en el 7-Eleven o el FamilyMart que hay junto al hotel. Estos pequeños detalles marcan la diferencia y hacen que la estancia sea mucho más fácil y agradable.

Las habitaciones son muy limpias y espaciosas para los estándares de Tokio. La nuestra contaba con ducha y una bañera grande, un pequeño sofá, una televisión de buen tamaño con Netflix y una cama amplia y muy cómoda. Todo estaba pensado para descansar después de pasar el día recorriendo la ciudad.

Además, como estábamos de luna de miel, tuvieron el detalle de dejarnos una botella de cava de cortesía, un gesto que agradecimos muchísimo y que hizo nuestra estancia aún más especial.

El hotel también ofrece servicio de limpieza diario, si lo deseas, lavandería gratuita, café y agua gratis, además de un surtido de amenities de baño muy completo, más amplio que el que hemos encontrado en otros hoteles.

En definitiva, ha sido una experiencia de 10. Destacamos especialmente la amabilidad de todo el personal, la comodidad y limpieza de las habitaciones, la ubicación y la cantidad de servicios que ofrece. Es un hotel que recomendaríamos sin dudarlo a cualquiera que visite Tokio, tanto por su excelente relación entre comodidad y ubicación como por el trato excepcional que recibimos.

The location was amazing the amenities provided were incredible and the staff was attentive and kind.

Centralna lokalizacja, kilka kroków do stacji Otsuka, wokół pełno sklepów, restauracji. Super baza wypadowa i dobre połączenie z innymi dzielnicami. Duży pokój i łazienka, dobre kosmetyki. Możliwość zrobienia prania, na parterze cały czas dostępna kawa z ekspresu, herbata i małe ciasteczka.

Large room, close to station, quiet, many food options nearby

洗濯機乾燥機あった！ウェルカムのドリンク、スナックがあった。給水機がフロアーにあった！

위치가 아주 좋았고 내부가 청결하고 넓어서 너무 좋았습니다. 직원분도 친절하고, 근처 가기에도 편안했습니다. 특히 욕실은 아주 넓고 시설이 좋았고, 어메니티는 너무 섬세하게 다 챙겨져 있어서 그것또한 좋았습니다. 담에 일본에 갈때도 다시 이용하고 싶습니다.

The location is indeed great, as you can reach pretty much anywhere in Tokyo with just one transfer, or two at most.

The staff were always friendly, and the room was clean. The decor is a bit tacky, but that's to be expected given the nature of the hotel.

The room comes with plenty of complimentary amenities: skincare products, shampoos, bath salts, etc.

Top Lage, 2 Min. zu Yamanote Linie, viele Restaurants, Kneipen und Geschäfte unmittelbar in der Nähe, sehr leise, sehr freundliches Personal, jeden Tag frische Bettwäsche und Handtücher, sehr sauber

Very close to Otsuka station less than 2min walk.
A lot of shop and restaurant close. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bigger than usual size for Japan hotel.

Lo staff molto gentile, la struttura pulita e vicinissima alla metro yamanote line, le stanze grandi nella nostra c'era anche l'idromassaggio.
