Loud music from function meant could not begin to think about sleeping till gone midnight.
There was plenty of parking. The breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Being an old building there was no lift.

Nice room, Allowed to leave luggage at reception (midday) before room access permitted (3pm).
I was moved by the waitress from sitting next to my friends at breakfast because of a dog!!! So, having been moved, I got a fresh, full cup of coffee on my table to show my breakfast was still 'in progress' while I went back to see my friends. When I returned,(3 or 4 minutes later) my breakfast including coffee, toast and marmalade had all been cleared! Highly insensitive considering I had been moved away from my friends. The waitress dealt with it very well, promptly and with no fuss by bringing me new breakfast. It would have been nicer if the obvious clue to my unfinished (1st) breakfast had been picked up.
Location
Had run out of basic breakfast items such as bacon, tomatoes, hash browns, scrambled egg was cold, nothing was replenished. The rooms we had, mine, was fine, my companions had a swarm of wasps in their bathroom and one of them was stung.
I have stayed here on several occasions but I'm afraid they let themselves down this time.

The hotel is very good value for money with a clean room and a comfortable nights sleep. I dont eat breakfast so I cant comment on that. Free parking is good too.

A nice little trip to Ilkley. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom facilities were excellent, I found the staff here friendly. I liked that the breakfast was a buffet. There was a good range of options.
The bedroom could have done with more than one power socket. I was only able to open a window a fraction, so it was a good job I didn't stay during the heatwave.
I thought the evening meal was expensive for what you got. It was premium hotel prices, for very basic food.
