Good
Pros:

Staff were helpful

Cons:

I had asked for a twin and got a double bed . I was with my daughter so we had to share . The bed was very big so wasn’t a problem , but a twin would have been better

Dog and Crown - a great Pub
Pros:

Very good location, close to Park and at least 6 restaurant options within short walking distance. The staff were very helpful and polite. Great restaurant for breakfast and a lovely bar and beer garden. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

Not Applicable.

Excellent rooms & location
Pros:

Spacious room with sofa. Breakfast very good. Very clean room. Tea/coffee provided. Good choice of food in the restaurant. Staff very friendly & helpful. Great outside pub garden with heaters & blankets.

Cons:

The room we had (room 20) was at the very top floor. No lift, so would need help if heavy luggage. The reception staff offers help if needed when checking in.

A lovely room, very quiet despite the bar/restaurant being very busy, but came up short due to the maintenance issue
Pros:

Lovely room that slept 3 of us comfortably.

Cons:

On arrival I was checked in to a room that someone else was in. Quickly rectified by staff member. TV didn’t work in room - staff tried hard to fix it but weren’t able to. Safe didn’t work either - someone had taken the batteries out. Wasn’t fixed to wardrobe either so fairly easy to remove. Staff tried really hard to rectify all these things but they were very busy and shouldn’t have needed to deal with things not working. Breakfast was disappointing - it is a shame cereals and fruit/yogurt weren’t offered on the menu. There were only cooked options available., although we did see another guest with this combination on leaving the restaurant on our final morning so maybe it was only offered to guests on a specific package?Water and filter coffee available for guests to help themselves to.

Perfect night away would stay again
Pros:

Room was lovely and clean. Very comfortable stay all facilities were great. Loved having a terrace to sit out in in the morning

Cons:

Weren’t able to guarantee parking and that the restaurant uses the hotel parking. Although hotel staff were helpful and it worked out ok just not in an ‘official’ parking bay…

Nice hotel, nice room, clean, good breakfast!
Pros:

The hotel and pub was very good with plenty of character and nice interiors. Plenty of spaces to sit inside and out. The garden is particularly nice and welcoming.

The room was very nicely refurbished and decorated (I believe recently) and the breakfast was very good and all the staff were very helpful. Would stay again but in a different room.

Cons:

The negatives were that the room was in the attic and on a hot day this is not pleasant. We couldn't open any windows for a breeze even a couple of inches on each would have helped. I appreciate its a safety issue but it is nice to get some fresh air.

There was an aircon unit which we had to sleep with on all night, however this made a rattle noise every 20mins or so. Which in turn disturbed our sleep.

Pros:

Room had all the facilities required
Clean, comfortable bed

Cons:

The reception desk ,could do with a permanent member of staff, to prevent the waiting, and looking for someone to help you

Will be staying again.
Pros:

The room was gorgeous, lovely private outdoor patio. Super convenient location 20mins walk to brockwell park & 20min tube / bus to Brixton & Peckham.

Fold out bed was easy to use and already had bedding - refreshments bar was fully stocked and we even had a mini fridge with both sparkling & still water.

Staff were super helpful - we arrived earlier than check in time so had to wait till the room was ready which was understandable. As we had come for a festival & needed to get ready the staff were extremely accommodating & let us get ready in a private room , great WiFi, Bar and food was good.

It's the 4th time I have stayed over several years and we have never been disappointed

Cons:

It was super hope during our stay - highest temperature was 33c.

We used the Manual to operate the AC however it didn't go lower than 19c and the air flow wasn't very strong so it was a very sweaty night! The only other option was to leave the patio door open which didn't provide much of a difference.

Pros:

Room was nice

Cons:

Check in was quite painful and I got charged twice. The security lock didnt work on the door on the top floor meaning I walked up and down stairs a few times getting my key recut only to find the issue was the door. It might be worth advertising breakfast times at the place of booking. Ipaid for it, only to find out it doesn't start til 7am, when I had to be at work for 7am

Lovely hotel , will stay again .
Pros:

Lovely room , quiet , clean and beautifully appointed. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy check in and checkout. We didn’t have breakfast but would definitely have some next time as the dining area looked great .
We will be back !

Cons:

Our room was right at the top of the building and the lift only goes up to the first floor , not easy with luggage. Would request a room lower down next time.
