Ottima sistemazione, prezzo concorrenziale per la Svizzera
Pros:

Posizione tranquilla, nella collina sopra Lugano, servita benissimo dai mezzi pubblici (gratuiti con il Ticino Pass rilasciato dall'albergo). Stanza carina, pulita, buon bagno con doccia, cambio quotidiano degli asciugamani, macchina da caffè (ottimo) e croissant industriale compreso nel prezzo, ma del resto non mancano i bar nella zona più turistica.
Il prezzo è decisamente contenuto, visto il Paese e la località.

Ich hatte in diesem Hotel über Booking zwei Nächte für zwei Personen in einem Zimmer gebucht und den gesamten Betrag bereits im Voraus bezahlt. Das Geld wurde direkt von meinem Konto abgezogen und ich hatte sowohl die Buchungsbestätigung als auch meinen Bankauszug als Nachweis dabei.

Als ich am Abend zum Check-in kam, wurde ich von einem kleinen, dünnen Mann mit grauen Haaren, Brille und sehr unsympathischem Auftreten empfangen. Obwohl ich ihm mehrmals erklärt habe, dass ich nicht gut Englisch spreche, und freundlich gefragt habe, ob jemand Deutsch sprechen könne, weigerte er sich komplett und sprach die ganze Zeit nur Italienisch und Englisch mit mir.

Er druckte eine Quittung aus und verlangte ständig, dass ich das Hotel in Höhe von 331.80 Euro nochmals bezahle sowie zusätzlich 20 Euro für den Parkplatz. Ich habe ihm mehrmals erklärt, dass ich weiss, dass das Parking 10 Euro pro Tag kostet und ich dieses selbstverständlich bezahlen werde. Ich verstand jedoch nicht, warum ich den gesamten Hotelbetrag nochmals bezahlen sollte, obwohl ich die Buchung bereits im Voraus bezahlt hatte und mir bereits 315 Franken abgezogen wurden.

Ich zeigte ihm meine E-Mail-Bestätigung sowie meinen Bankauszug als Beweis. Trotzdem wurde er immer lauter und frecher und zeigte ständig mit dem Finger auf den Betrag auf der Quittung, um mir klarzumachen, dass ich bezahlen müsse. Ich wollte ihm sogar mein Handy mit Google Übersetzer geben, damit wir die Situation besser klären könnten, aber selbst das lehnte er ab.

Danach beschuldigte er Booking und behauptete, das Problem liege bei Booking, weil er das Geld nicht erhalten habe. Ich rief daraufhin meinen Bruder an und erklärte ihm die Situation auf Deutsch. Mein Bruder sprach daraufhin per Lautsprecher auf Englisch mit dem Mitarbeiter. Auch am Telefon erklärte der Mitarbeiter erneut, dass ich den gesamten Hotelbetrag bezahlen müsse, da das Hotel das Geld von Booking angeblich nicht erhalten habe.

Отель рекомендую, прекрасное соотношении цены, качества , местонахождения.
Pros:

Прекрасный персонал; уютный , удобный, чистый номер; удобная кровать, чистейшие постельное бельё и полотенца, хорошее местонахождение; кофемашина, круассанчики., приятный вид из обоих окон, проездной билет по кантону Тичино.

Cons:

Чехол на кресле был чистым, но на нём присутствовали пятна, которые не отстирываются и требуют специальных моющих средств для удаления. С 22:30 было шумно, кто-то громко разговаривал в коридоре, 1 раз постучал в нашу дверь, хлопал дверьми. Но так как мы были уставшими после наших дневных путешествий, то мы быстро уснули снова.

Très bon séjour dans les hauteurs de Lugano.
Pros:

Très beau lieu, personnel très accueillant. Restaurant sur place, parfait pour le soir.
Du café et un croissant à la vanille dans la chambre pour le petit-déjeuner.
Bon séjour à Locanda Del Conventino.

Für eine Nacht ok, nicht empfehlenswert für einen längeren Aufenthalt
Pros:

Die Matratzen waren bequem, Preis für Lugano erschwinglich, hilfsbereites Personal

Cons:

Sehr hellhörig, sowohl zur Strasse, als auch im Haus, Küchengeräusche bis spät gefühlt im eigenen Zimmer, Dusche sollte ersetzt werden wegen Schimmel, kein Sitzplatz

One night only. Very serviceable.
Pros:

The excellent and timely free community bus service meant we were well in time for The Gotthard Panorama Express.

Cons:

The Conventino is quite a long way out of the centre (reasonable given its price) and on the shady side of the valley.
