The breakfast was very nice and the lady who was there on behalf of the property is very friendly.
This hotel is basic but ideal for us. A 10 minute walk from the train station in the opposite direction to main attractions. But in a quite neighborhood.
Wifi was great.
Shared bathroom which were spotless, mens and women were all separate.
I asked for a kettle which was given to me, happy days 🙃

We had 2 rooms for different durations in May 2026.
I stayed for 4 nights while my 2 sons aged 17 & 24 stayed for 1 night. They boys had a huge room with lots of windows.
Breakfast wasn't brilliant. Nothing for gluten or dairy free although they did have oat milk.
Fruit salad wasn't fresh, most likely from a tin. Very small selection of meat and cheese and one little cake, no other pastries. Juice wasn't free, from a carton. No hot breakfasts

Excellent breakfast. Super friendly and helpful front desk staff. Very nice room and great location. Shared bathrooms were fine - plentiful, never crowded and clean.
The hotel is located at a quiet and peaceful place, but still it is not very far from the Lucerne city center. There are frequent buses to the Lucerne railway station which is at the center of the city. There is a 5 minutes walk to the bus stop. It is also possible to walk from the station to the hotel if you don't have any heavy luggage. Hotel staff is pleasant. You can keep the luggage at the hotel if you arrive before check-in time. Breakfast was nice. Overall, it was a nice stay in the beautiful city of Lucerne.
The hotel has shared bathroom facility in each floor. There are 2 shower rooms and but only 1 toilet. I think it would be better to have at least 2 toilets in each floor as there are more than 10 rooms in every floor.
Friendly staff at reception. Very basic room but clean.
No air conditioning in the room is ridiculous given the price. Stayed there on a run of hot weather and had to keep windows open with a fan constantly. Felt like a developing country.
Shared bathroom was a bit ordinary given the price, but it was at least clean.
