Good B and B with bar on the edge of Malton's market square. Helpful staff, good breakfast, large room. Cyclist friendly.

Very friendly staff , breakfast cooked to order. Stayed in superior room , comfy bed, great shower , lovely views. Nicely situated just outside of town
The hotel is obviously trying to keep the heritage. Single glazed windows so a lot of traffic noise early in the morning being near the main road.
Staff were friendly & breakfast was delicious- we had the full English sausages were beautiful
Weren’t serving dinner at the property which was unfortunate .
Can here all the traffic from our room , but the bed was very comfortable

Breakfast was very good, and the bed was comfy; tea and coffee facilities were good.
The toilet was dirty; crusty yellow could be seen at the back of the toilet did not sit on it. The shower needs updating; there was some black mould and rust around the drain in the shower, so I did not use it. It made it stressful; I would not come again. Very noisy from road traffic. The person who signed us in was very matter-of-fact and uninterested. The whole place had an unclean smell to it downstairs.

The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. The location is ideal.

We loved the first impression of the building. We were welcomed in a friendly, very efficient manner. Our first impression of our room was - this is lovely. We were given room 2. It had a lovely view over the countryside.
The room was well appointed, very clean, and the drink tray was well equipped (better than most).
We went out for our evening meal as they don't do food in the evenings.
Back at the B&B we enjoyed a drink outside at one of several picnic tables.
The bed was comfortable and we both slept very well. Breakfast was very promptly served. There were cereals, orange juice, apple juice, tea and coffee to help yourself to. We had a full English breakfast which was hot, tasty and plentiful. Staff again were very friendly and efficient.
We will definitely stay here again, next time we are in the area. It was good value for money.

They should probably service the rooms every day when staying for more than one day....
The staff were friendly, helpful and of good humour ( eggs Benedict)🤣. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were amazing. The prices in the bar were reasonable.
Ceiling was in poor repair above the shower . Other Ear of the hotel would benefit from a little old.
Ideal location for where we needed. Had a beautiful view from the room. Our room was really nice with an en suite. The bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was really nice with a good choice. Cooked to order.
The car park was small but we were allowed to double park behind the owner. Which was nice.
