Pros:

Hotellet är fint beläget precis vid havet. Bra frukostbuffe och restaurang. Fin pool och mycket hjälpsam personal. Hotellet kan hjälpa till att ordna olika aktiviteter såsom dykning och snorkling.

Excellent (diving) location on Kenyan coast
Pros:

Great food, lovely beach, excellent pool with lots of places to eat/drink, great TVs for watching the World Cup, and it is very convenient if scuba diving as the dive school is on the same property and uses the pool for junior training. The rooms were fine, nothing too extravagant but perfectly fine and with mosquito nets. Good cafe/ice-cream parlour within walking distance, and easy to take a tuktuk to anywhere. Great for families as kids can play around safely anywhere.

Cons:

It was ideal.

Il nostro soggiorno presso l'Ocean Sports Resort è andato ben oltre le nostre aspettative. Si tratta di una struttura enorme, immersa nel verde, che si affaccia direttamente sulla spiaggia. Ad inizio agosto il mare non era perfetto per fare il bagno o rilassarsi sul bagnasciuga, ma il resort offre due bellissime piscine da sfruttare durante la giornata. Nota molto positiva: la struttura mette a disposizione anche il trasporto in tuk-tuk o boda-boda a prezzi decisamente accessibili, comodissimo per spostarsi. Inoltre organizzano il venerdì sera una serata con musica e DJ dal vivo. Le stanze sono molto grandi, pulite e fornite di ogni comfort; il personale è attento e sempre molto accogliente. Ottima anche la cucina, sia a colazione che a cena, e preparano dei cocktail squisiti.Il nostro viaggio a Watamu è stato reso davvero perfetto da Roy Watamu Kenya (+254111929003), un ragazzo del posto che lavora come guida locale. Parla perfettamente sia l'italiano che l'inglese ed è professionale e simpaticissimo. Oltre ai bellissimi tour guidati sulla costa, organizza anche fantastici safari: saprà farvi conoscere e amare ogni aspetto della natura e del Kenya. Un ulteriore fiore all'occhiello è il suo prezioso collaboratore David.Consiglio vivamente sia il soggiorno presso questo resort, sia di affidarvi a Roy per andare alla scoperta del Kenya tra escursioni e safari!

Pros:

Ocean Sport is just that place in the world where you can just be happy and have no worries, the staff and the facilities and the restaurant and the ocean just makes sure of that. We chose to go here because of recommondation and were 100% glad we did.

Absolutely amazing place. After a long flight we were so grateful for this beautiful location to stay at. Our room was amazing, when we arrived, the bed was decorated with beautiful flowers.
Lovely setting right on the beach front.
Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Amazing food.

Lovely hotel, great ambience and great food
Pros:

Lovely property, well kept grounds, great pool area with sea views, lovely beach to walk along, fantastic food (I’m still dreaming of the fresh tuna and I don’t like fresh tuna usually), staff were generally friendly, professional and friendly drive centre at the hotel. Very family friendly and many European tourists (not necessarily a good thing for us but I would defo recommend to friends with kids or wanting more western standards)

Cons:

Shame there was no gym (we did know this before booking and used next doors gym for a fee), although would have been nice to use the tennis courts but they had no rackets to borrow. Not the hotels fault and didn’t bother us but seaweed builds up at that end of the beach in the winter. It’s natural and protected, and clean, but hey we went in the windy season!

Absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Sports! Will 100% be back!
Pros:

The staff absolutely made our holiday. The people who work at Ocean sports are some of the kindest most attentive staff I have ever experienced.

The food and cocktails were incredible too! I highly recommend the pizzas especially the 4 Cheeses!!! Also the “Call me a tuktuk” cocktail is unreal!

I saw some complaints prior to going to ocean sports about not having wifi in the rooms. I did not care about these going in because I do not need constant internet connection when on vacation. However we were in the furtherest room from the reception and had perfect wifi.

Great great great value for money!!!!

Cons:

We were there in winter and the temperature was great so we were just sad that the pool closed at 6pm. This might be different in summer
