Un posto incantevole
Pros:

La struttura, curata in ogni dettaglio, é immersa in un bellissimo giardino tropicale. Le camere sono ampie e arredate con gusto e tutte dotate di un graziosissimo patio vista mare. Molto bella anche la piscina con il bar a sfioro che prepara ottimi cocktail. Eccezionale il ristorante, sicuramente il migliore della zona. Ma ciò che rende l'Ocean Sport resort un posto speciale è il servizio impeccabile: tutto lo staff è gentilissimo ed attento al cliente e contribuisce a creare un'atmosfera molto piacevole e rilassata.

Cons:

Anche se ovviamente non dipende dalla struttura, c'è da dire però che nel mese di agosto la spiaggia e il mare sono poco praticabili perché ricoperti di alghe.

Il cibo è buonissimo, camere confortevoli e pulite, staff eccezionale e disponibile per ogni richiesta. Ampia piscina pulita e asciugami in dotazione, tantissimi servizi messi a disposizione dalla struttura.

Excellent stay
Pros:

Absolutely loved our one week stay here for my birthday! The food was a 10/10, the views were breathtaking and the rooms were quite spaced out allowing for privacy. The staff went above and beyond to accomodate us.

Le meilleur hôtel dans lequel j'ai jamais été.
Pros:

On entend le bruit de la mer depuis la chambre, c'est très relaxant. La piscine est magnifique. On loge dans des petits lodges de sorte à avoir l'intimité d'un lodge mais avec les avantage d'un hotel. Possibilité de petit déjeuner et de manger devant la mer. La nourriture est délicieuse et le personnel on ne peut plus attentionné.

I booked an extra night and changed my flight just so I could savour it as long as possible.
Pros:

Soggiorno rilassante e resort ottimo ma con qualche asterisco
Pros:

Personale gentilissimo e posizione fronte mare.
Il ristorante era molto buono, con diverse scelte per i pasti principali.
La piscina ottima quando il mare non era praticabile. Letto grande king size e bagno molto spazioso.
Ci sono aree comuni come campi da padel, squash e una bellissima scacchiera gigante!

Cons:

- il WiFi purtroppo non prende nelle stanze ma solo nelle aree comuni
- la colazione buona ma poca varietà
- purtroppo la nostra porta della stanza non chiudeva perfettamente per cui entravano frequentemente gechi e insetti vari… non pericolosi ma nemmeno piacevoli

Excellent (diving) location on Kenyan coast
Pros:

Great food, lovely beach, excellent pool with lots of places to eat/drink, great TVs for watching the World Cup, and it is very convenient if scuba diving as the dive school is on the same property and uses the pool for junior training. The rooms were fine, nothing too extravagant but perfectly fine and with mosquito nets. Good cafe/ice-cream parlour within walking distance, and easy to take a tuktuk to anywhere. Great for families as kids can play around safely anywhere.

Cons:

It was ideal.

Il nostro soggiorno presso l'Ocean Sports Resort è andato ben oltre le nostre aspettative. Si tratta di una struttura enorme, immersa nel verde, che si affaccia direttamente sulla spiaggia. Ad inizio agosto il mare non era perfetto per fare il bagno o rilassarsi sul bagnasciuga, ma il resort offre due bellissime piscine da sfruttare durante la giornata. Nota molto positiva: la struttura mette a disposizione anche il trasporto in tuk-tuk o boda-boda a prezzi decisamente accessibili, comodissimo per spostarsi. Inoltre organizzano il venerdì sera una serata con musica e DJ dal vivo. Le stanze sono molto grandi, pulite e fornite di ogni comfort; il personale è attento e sempre molto accogliente. Ottima anche la cucina, sia a colazione che a cena, e preparano dei cocktail squisiti.Il nostro viaggio a Watamu è stato reso davvero perfetto da Roy Watamu Kenya (+254111929003), un ragazzo del posto che lavora come guida locale. Parla perfettamente sia l'italiano che l'inglese ed è professionale e simpaticissimo. Oltre ai bellissimi tour guidati sulla costa, organizza anche fantastici safari: saprà farvi conoscere e amare ogni aspetto della natura e del Kenya. Un ulteriore fiore all'occhiello è il suo prezioso collaboratore David.Consiglio vivamente sia il soggiorno presso questo resort, sia di affidarvi a Roy per andare alla scoperta del Kenya tra escursioni e safari!
