The location was great - not in the noisy part of town but fab sea views and walks nearby
We had the loft room which sadly wasn’t advertised as having a shower that was only functional when sitting in the bath due to the sloping roof! Two girls sharing this room with hair to wash … caused a little discomfort!

Bed was uncomfortable and squeaky room wasn’t cleaned or no fresh towels so room turned over would see need revamp on noisy furniture and stain carpet

The room was lovely. We had the double deluxe sea view room. Breakfast was amazing, and lots to choose from.

Breakfast room is too squashed. Breakfast time could be extended to create a better flow of people They could remove a few tables and give each bedroom a more specific time range so the whole occupancy isnt trying to have breakfast at the same time or at least serve some people in the lounge area to create some space in the breakfast room.
We had a wonderful stay at The Seacliffe. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring Whitby. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and delicious food. What really made our stay special was the friendly and welcoming staff, who were always helpful and made us feel at home. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend The Seacliffe to anyone visiting this beautiful city. We will definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was a little too greasy
Twin room in roof space: Beautifully clean, beds very comfy, slept very well! Friendly and helpful staff. Good parking options. Amazing location, within walking distance to main attractions. Lovely sea views. You can hear the ocean if you sleep with a window open! Decor in the twin room was immaculately clean, modern, and bright with drawers, wardrobe space, and large mirror. There are plenty of plug sockets in the room, double sockets including USB for both beds.
Stayed in the twin room in the roof space. The bathroom was clean and tidy, but the shower is unsuitable for anyone over about 5.3 or with mobility issues due to the sloping ceiling above the bath (not the owers fault). It was difficult to stand fully to shower, but there is a small bath as an alternative.
