Good location.
Hotel rooms very dated and absence of plug sockets frustrating. Breakfast was adequate, the whole hotel is a little tired.
Localização excelente, bom pequeno almoço.
Nem sempre havia funcionários na receção.
O ar condicionado estava avariado.
The staff were wonderful. We only had one working outlet in the room and we both use CPAP machines while we sleep, so the staff found an extension cord last minute and late at night, with several outlets for us to use so we could also charge our phones. We were there only one night to see the meteor showers, and staff were helpful in suggestions places we could walk to from the hotel, and offered us a blanket to take with us. The wood carving art in the breakfast room was striking, and a bit bleak at first, but the manager explained the history and that it had all been made by a local artist who depicted the life of the mountain people during the dictatorship when it wasn't allowed to speak out, and the stories in each were people who had lived in this area. It was very fascinating and the staff are all passionate about providing service and staying true to the old-world charm of this hotel.
The bed was small and the mattress was rather hard, so it was cramped for two very tall people. Additionally, the side chair the room offered again was designed for a petit person, so neither of us could sit comfortably in it. The ward drobe was also very small, and it was fine since we only stayed one night as we travelled through, but I'd have had difficulty getting clothes for both of us in it if we'd been staying for several days.
