You pay for the location right alongside the loch, with great views from the public areas to the rear.
I think the room and bed therein were on the small side. The restaurant was overpriced for what it was, and the food was average quality. A small car park, difficult to manoeuvre in and easy to get your car damaged by other guests (ask me how I know).
Beautiful location overlooking the loch. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the outside areas were immaculate and beautifully maintained, and the food was excellent. The staff were particularly good – genuinely friendly, welcoming, attentive and accommodating.
At £239 for the night, I expected a little more from the room in terms of comfort. The bed was quite hard and, although the bed linen was perfectly nice, the quality of the duvet and pillows let the sleep experience down. The shower had very little water pressure and the bathroom door handle was very loose on the inside, meaning the door couldn’t be closed properly. There were tea and coffee-making facilities, but I couldn’t see any complimentary water on arrival.

The room view was good but had the restaurant roof in the way….and the bathroom shower shelf was falling off..room 28
The Sunday Roast…..the beef was tough and gristly ….shame the rest of the plate was delicious.

Food excellent in both the cafeteria and restaurant. Staff very helpful and friendly from arrival at reception to cafeteria, restaurant and breakfast. Room very clean and comfortable. Amazing views from every aspect of the hotel.
Direkt am See, toller Blick aus dem Frühstücksraum. Schönes Zimmer, alles blitzblank, Wasserkocher und Föhn vorhanden, moderene Steckdosen für Stecker und USB. Sehr leckeres Frühstück und freundliches Personal!
