Beautiful & romantic

Expensive for the experience we had. Doubt we shall return.

Pleasant view of the hills.
Room acceptable and comfortable nice bathroom

Cons:

First night not suitable. We had been offered 2 beds however one was only an unmade sofa bed, which the staff said they couldn't alter. This was corrected on the second day.

Fantastic location, wonderful staff and spotlessly clean
Pros:

Pretty much everything about this hotel is perfect, the peaceful location (right on the water), the staff who were so friendly and helpful, the lovely food at the restaurant and the lovely decor (we forgot to sample one of the strawberry tarts though which apparently are fantastic). The hotel was immaculate, free parking, and a spacious room (we stayed in a room with a patio). There are free toiletries in the bathrooms and perfectly white towels. Even a non slip mat to use in the shower is provided (this is a must as the shower tray is very slippery!).

Cons:

The beds are very small and for 2 people used to an Emporer sized bed we struggled!

location superb, Staff very friendly especially the greeters at breakfast.

Cons:

Room had little or no sound proofing we could clearly hear conversations in the adjacent room, the shower had very poor pressure when hot .

Absolutely enjoyed our short stay. Views from the dining room were amazing. Hope to return soon .

Perfect place to celebrate hubby’s 60th.
Pros:

Lovely hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond with stunning views. Staff were all extremely helpful and polite. We would definitely come back and we will be trying the other hotels in the chain if Duck Bay is anything to go by. Even got to go for a swim in the loch.

Pros:

Staff were superb, location fabulous 😍 breakfast was amazing.

Cons:

The rooms were very underwhelming. Very small. We stayed in a room with a loch view unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it because the terrace wasn't very clean and only a glazed glass barrier between next door.

First father/son trip away
Pros:

Restaurant was amazing, staff in there were great and very helpful. My kid found the kids fajitas too spicy so I asked to order something else fully expecting and ready to pay for another meal for him. The staff not only got another meal sorted for him, they completely wiped the price of his original and replacement meal off my bill. Great service, fast and delicious food.

Cons:

Hotel room was rather expensive for what the room was. Very basic and not the cleanest of hotel rooms. It was ample for our stay but definitely not a highlight
