Stunning location and a great hotel. Everyone really friendly. Breakfast was good. Also tried cafe and restaurant which were very tasty.
Expensive. It's just hard to accept the price of everything now. Don't get me wrong, we are hoping to stay again and the cost shouldn't put you off.
Everything
Nothing
Staff were so nice, and the location is stunning. Rooms were beautiful, if a bit neat for size, but having a French door/loch view was magic. The breakfast room is beautiful too.
Breakfast was adequate, but resented having to pay an extra fiver for a bit of salmon or ham on the eggs.
The setting is stunning. The staff are always amazing. The starters were great and the breakfast was fantastic
We ordered Fillet Steak for our main course, and it was a disaster, The steak was appalling. The staff took away one of the mains and returned the food 25minutes. This was less than ideal, as we were supposed to be dining together. The second steak was no better than the first
We booked a deluxe suite which was fantastic, large room with outside patio area with view of loch
Room no 3 is a great room but there was no fridge in the room. The patio outside area was great but be aware over the wall is the public beach. We were tormented by kids throwing plastic bottles over the wall into the patio. Not the hotels fault but still very off putting. Also on our day of arrival the jet ski morons were going mad up and down the water in the small bay next to the hotel. Water Police came and they moved on.
Friendly staff, excellent restraunt food is amazing.
No air con in room
The breakfast was good
1 The shower was rubbish I could have stood outside under a tap and got more pressure off of it
2 The bed was comfy but small
3 Not value for money as we could have got it cheaper on the day than what we paid in advance for it
De ligging aan het meer
Onvriendelijk personeel; teveel dwingende e-mails waardoor je je niet echt welkom voelt. Piepkleine kamer.
Very clean and looked recently refurbished inside and out.
The location is amazing.
We had a disabled room and the bathroom had no shelves and an incredibly small and low sink. I had to kneel on the floor to brush my teeth.
The view from the Loch facing bedrooms is spectacular, and breakfast is well catered and delicious. Staff friendly and helpful.
It would be nice if everyone staying could have their own keycard; one per room is a little limiting if say someone wants to go to bed early but the others want to look at the scenery longer...
Lovely room and views. Very clean.
Would have expected bottles of water in a suite. Lovely breakfast and evening meal. However, despite the room not being particularly busy at breakfast, it took 20 minutes for our breakfast order to be taken and then another half an hour to arrive. We were half way through eating this when two staff started removing things like butter for the toaster, cleaning the coffee machine, etc. The lady then started grumbling to her companion in a loud voice, closer to our table that she was not going to work Saturdays anymore. The staff at dinner on the previous night were great and the good will proceeds and delicious.
The place is absolutely wonderful
The staff /service /room and the hotel we're absolutely fantastic would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking about booking definitely go ahead ,will be returning very soon.
Lovely hotel. Nice room..staff were nice. Food was good.
Plastic glasses for outside.
