Superb - a wonderful hotel and a fabulous restaurant
Pros:

A lovely little hotel in a traditional building on the main street in Bowmore. The room was small but adequate, the enuite shower room was great (with a hot shower and plenty of pressure!) The restaurant was the highlight, fabulous food with an incredible view and very friendly staff.

Cons:

There was a bit of noise from outside and from the hallway, but this is hard to avoid in older buildings. There is no dedicated parking (but this was not a surprise) and there was plenty free public parking nearby.

Cons:

Wir konnten die Reise mangels Fährverbindung nicht antreten. Sowohl Booking als auch Hotel haben in der Folge geschrieben, sich ausnahmsweise für eine kostenlose Stornierung einsetzen zu wollen. In der Folge haben sie sich gegenseitig die Verantwortung zugeschoben, weshalb dies nicht möglich sei (Booking: „das Hotel ist nicht zum Entgegenkommen bereit.“, Hotel: „Die Vertragsbedingungen von Booking verunmöglichen eine kostenlose Stornierung.“). Das Ganze ist sehr intransparent und unbefriedigend.
