Charm and character
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. While the building (late 19th century) and the fittings had 'charm', it's not modern.
Bed and bedding were very nice.
The building has mostly long term residents living there, one or two I met in the lift and reception and seemed to be very nice but I kind of felt like I was intruding a bit. (maybe it was just me being a bit oversensitive to them)
The building is about half a block to a good bus route.
The neighbourhood is decent.
The cheapest option for the dates I needed so you get what you pay for.

Cons:

Everything was clean and well looked after but aged.
No breakfast available (not that it was advertised as having any, but worth noting when comparing)

Pros:

It was definitely different like some old spy movie mysterious but very comfortable

Cons:

That the bar and grill was closed wasn't really nowhere in walking distance to eat nearby

Good value for a stopover in city center
Pros:

Central location for a reasonable price. Ideal for a one night stopover. Free parking.

Cons:

The building and rooms have seen better days. Wifi is horrible while cell coverage in our room was far from perfect.

Top Shelf
Pros:

When your enter into the hotel it felt like you were stepping into a different era, the keys, the room, exemplary could not have asked for anything nicer maybe the windows open a little easier to just catch a tidbit of a Winter breeze. The staff was amazing and extra accommodating given the shift in the hotel industry over the past 10 years.

Cons:

It is so sad to say it's not the hotel - oh please move it out on 200 acres so you can wander listlessly about during amazing lifetime engagements. The area where the hotel is located is inundated with criminals unfortunately even at the Walgreens next door you couldn't get a product the products were locked up and the staff was rude. I would like to see a hotel gift shop with those types of amenities, safety convenience, allowing for an amazing eclectic stay.

Mal atendido.
Pros:

Bem localizado.

Cons:

Hotel muito bonito na década de 70, mas ficou parado no tempo. Atendente da recepção grossa, parecia que estava nos fazendo um favor em nos atender.
Se a ideia for custo e zero atendimento, faz sentido.
