Great place to stop for a night or two if you’re passing through. Marama was a fantastic host :)
Pros:

It had all the basics and a very comfortable bed! It was also very quiet, even though it’s right on the road. I had one of the best sleeps here, out of our whole 3 eeek trip!

Cons:

The stairs, but only because I had a massive suitcase

Not a fancy hotel, but it was exactly what we wanted and where we wanted to stop.
Pros:

We were made to feel really welcome. We were late arriving but had phoned ahead to advise of this fact. The lady running to place was so friendly and helped us find a local restaurant at that late hour.
The building does not look fancy but the room was clean and the shower was fantastic. The property was in the main street
of Foxton, so it was easy to find, minutes to walk to find dinner. We left early the next day.

Cons:

All great. Such a nice lady running this accommodation.

Aardige gastvrouw. Tegenover de molen en het kolencafe/restaurant gelegen. Op 10 autominuten van het strand (waar je ook met de auto op mag rijden, voor de liefhebbers)

Koelkast op de kamer maakt veel lawaai

Great value for money but don’t expect 5 star!
Pros:

Second time we have stayed which says something! Good location if you need to be in Foxton township. Lovely host (Marama). Good value.

Cons:

It’s basic and owners need to spend some serious $$$ to bring it up to par.
