The staff, the breakfast, the afternoon coffee were excellent.
The angled large led light in room 15 near the window was flickering, the metal knobs controlling the lights and shutters were very confusing because icons were too small. Also the shower glass door prevented the shower from drying out because it couldnt be left open and difficult to lay mat for floor near glass door.
Located in the centre but still quiet. Quirky decoration. Excellent top floor terrace with expansive views also excellent views from the breakfast room.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado y es realmente lindo, sobretodo para los amantes de los libros. La habitación es de ensueño y además muy cómoda.
Además en el quinto piso tienen un sector con café y cosas dulces durante la tarde, todo incluido. El desayuno muy bueno.

Posizione centrale, in zona pedonale, parcheggiate dall'altra parte del fiume, nel parcheggio grande e poi raggiungete la struttura. Porta dell'hotel che si apre dopo aver suonato. Ottima per visitare Coimbra.
Avvisate che non si può raggiungere l'hotel in auto, essendo in zona pedonale. Potrebbe essere sfruttata meglio la terrazza superiore con un bar serale/ notturno.
The location was great. The room was pretty spacious. We loved the inventive decorations in the room, very unique.

Great location, quiet, comfortable, helpful staff, with special features like the rooftop with great views and free refreshments available. The room was amazing and loved having a toilet separate from the rest of the bathroom facilities. Fabulous shower too.
It was all good
I'm dubious about boutique hotels because often design trumps function, but not here. Good design and function. As usual there are numerous light switches but they supply a guide instead of having to work it out yourself which usually happens. The top floor breakfast room and rooftop view are brilliant
The see through bath and toilet cubicals is odd, as others have mentioned, but if you put the light on in the shower but not the toilet it creates a one-way mirror effect.
