The bed was reasonably comfortable and the breakfast was good
First off is the access to the property going down uneven steep steps some up to 18 inches tall with no handrail. My knees were in decent shape having recovered from a minor surgery several months before with lots of exercise. Unfortunately these stairs damaged both my knees enough to affect the rest of the month in the Philippines. The sewage smells walking on the uneven path to the property after the stairs was a bit rich for a first impression. The room was constructed of the cheapest materials and it took me 4 days to get them to fix the only door into the room so that it could open without a lot of effort. The shower floor sharing the space with the bathroom sink was something I would expect from a hotel that’s more than half the price. Beachfront is really a poor description with the closest swim able beach 5 miles away. I have never given any property booked on Booking.com such a poor rating.

Très bel hôtel, les chambres donnent sur la mer sont spacieuses, propres et joliment décorées. Le personnel est très aimable, nous avons même pu nous doucher le jour de notre départ après une excursion

Le logement était propre et les chambres plutôt grandes.
Nous avons été envahit par des termites volantes une nuit, sans que nous puissions rien faire. Elles se sont multipliés par milliers dans la chambre. Le personnel n’a rien pu faire.
The location was perfect, on the beach and tucked away. It was very quiet and the staff were always helpful. The air conditioning worked so well, our room was cold, exactly how we like it!
We had a trail of ants that kept getting in and dragging sand along the front of the room.

Prijs is erg hoog, je betaalt voor de locatie vermoed ik. Maar de locatie was nou ook weer niet zó geweldig.
The resort was great, our room was perfect, spacious & clean. The staff were very accommodating & helpful. The hotel was well situated for all the boat tours, being just a short beach walk away from the area where the boats left from - very convenient. The sunset views are great!
The beach was not great in front of the hotel. You have to travel to other beaches. And the entrance alley way to the hotel has an open sewer running along it which doesn’t smell great as you approach the hotel from the road.
The rooms are beautiful.
The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and professional.
The situation is just a few minutes to the city center by tuk tuk (150 pesos).
We had booked the sea view room which was nice but it would be nice to cut the trees a little so we can actually have a view ;)
It would be nice to have some sun loungers on the beach like other hotels do.

We loved the location of the bungalows that are set right on Carong Carong beach. Great if you want to stay out of the main busy el nido harbour area. You get great sunsets and can pick up kayaks or boats straight from your bungalow. The bungalows have all you need with a fridge, kettle, air con etc. The bed is very comfortable and the pillows are perfect. What makes Maligaya beach bungalows special though are the staff who are so cheerful and are always ready to help you.
It’s not really the their fault but the little stream of waste water that runs down the side of the property and into the sea is smelly and I wouldn’t swim in the area in front of the bungalows .
Very cute hotel situated on the beach! We had our room facing the sea with perfect view! The location is good, I recommend to rent a scooter to reach city centre. Overall all nice, perfect if you are looking for a relaxing and quite place.
The shower in the bathroom can be improved, as there is no curtain or divider in the floor, so it tends to get all wet.
