Lovely stop for a one night stay.
Pros:

Great location for an event I was at in Kelvedon Hatch. Great friendly welcome, even out of hours and the staff in the pub are excellent. Nice single room, comfy bed and couldn't ask for much else on a quick one-night stay,

Cons:

little odd that wi-fi was available in the room but not in the pub but that may be to keep the pub mobile free.

Friendly and efficient.
Pros:

Pub with rooms so I wasn’t expecting The Ritz. But the owner was welcoming and friendly. Dinner was fine and the cooked breakfast was excellent.

Would have liked WiFi in pub not just room

Pleasant owner, breakfast good, absolute value for money, clean
Pros:

Opted for Continental breakfast. A good range of choice.

Cons:

Not the owners fault but the room No 9 was on a very busy road so quite noisy but overall we coped with it.

Staff lovely, same for pub and food. just sleeping accomodation let it down.
Pros:

basic continental included. didnt have cooked as going out for a meal. coffee was good.

Cons:

Accomodation entrance area dirty. room could have been cleaner although bedding was fine. shower head needed cleaning/replacing. lots of noise from the adjoining room lackof sound deadening in the door? could hear every conversation. the bed was like sleeping on a broken board, really not comfortable.

Great
Pros:

The bar and restaurant was well priced with a great menu of both food and drinks. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. Location is very good
I left too early for breakfast so they did a packed lunch for me instead.
The hotel room was very clean and comfortable.
I will be staying there again next time im in this area. .

Nothing was a really good stay.
