Every detail felt carefully thought out, and it truly became one of those places you don’t want to leave.
Pros:

I loved everything about the property — the beautiful hotel design, the exceptional staff, and the fantastic location. The personnel were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional, making us feel truly valued throughout our stay. The atmosphere was elegant yet warm and relaxing, and every detail seemed thoughtfully prepared. The location was also perfect for enjoying Lisbon and the beautiful Belém area. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and a place I would happily return to.

Not as fancy as expected
Pros:

Staff went out of their way to help is with anything. But staff friendliness is important, but doesn’t make the stay excellent.

Cons:

The taps in the bathroom were outside the bath. Obviously design over function was chosen here. The toilet kept running water after flushing. On day two we found out that the curtains were electric. Nothing was mentioned about this. Bed was fine and terrace outside too. In the end an agreable stay.

Sehr staubiges und schlecht gereinigtes Zimmer (Suite), kombiniert mit unfreundlichem Service.
Pros:

Lissabon ist einfach wunderschön, es beeindruckt uns immer wieder!

Das Frühstück war bescheiden, aber okay. Das Personal vom Restaurant (auch vom Morgenessen), war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Lage am Tejo ist sehr schön.

Cons:

Leider entsprach die Sauberkeit des Zimmers nicht einem 5 Sternen Hotel. Wir reisen sehr viel und kennen das Niveau auf 5 Sterne sehr gut. Der Boden wie auch die Teppiche waren sichtbar verschmutzt und rundum das Bett befand sich so viel Staub, dass man regelrecht seinen Namen hineinschreiben konnte. Das Zimmer wirkte insgesamt nicht gründlich gereinigt, so fest, dass wir zum Teil selber mit einem Lappen einiges weggeputzt haben. Zusätzlich gab es Probleme mit den sanitären Einrichtungen. Am ersten Tag roch man aus dem Abfluss der Dusche, ein starker unangenehmer Geruch, und das Lavabo lief schlecht ab, sodass sich beim Benutzen Wasser staute. Am Sonntag waren wir bereits früh morgens auf einem Ausflug und kehrten erst um 15:45 Uhr ins Zimmer zurück. Leider waren die Putzkraft noch am reinigen, die Reaktion der Dame empfanden wir leider als unhöflich und genervt. Insgesamt hinterliess der Aufenthalt im Hotel (grosse Suite mit Sicht auf dem Fluss!) leider keinen guten Eindruck, insbesondere aufgrund der mangelnden Sauberkeit und des unprofessionellen Umgangs mit unseren Anliegen (an der Rezeption und per WhatsAPP) wo zum Teil einfach keine Antwort kamen. An der Rezeption zeigte sich das Personal, mit sehr wenigen Ausnahmen, nicht interessiert....Schade! Ich könnte einige Beispiele nennen.

magnifique hôtel avec personnel aux petits soins

Chambre spacieuse, mais trop de bruit avec le train sous mes fenêtres, heureusement que j'ai toujours des boules quies avec moi, sinon impossible de dormir

Frokosten sto ikke helt i stil med resten: utvannet juice for eksempel. Arbeid om natten forstyrret nattesøvnen. Ingen i resepsjonen som var til stede og kunne hjelpe
