Pros:

Ontvangst was goed. Kamer proper, en goede bedden. Wel vochtige kamer en zeer warm. Airco zou een pluspunt geweest zijn.

Cons:

Geen airco op de kamer. Ontbijt was zeer sober en weinig keuze.

There is no Air Conditioned in room and not as per expectation and fan was also not given by the staff .Overall bad experience.

It REALLY is like a jail—comfortable bed and friendly atmosphere, but definitely a jail cell LOL
Pros:

The location is good, near the shops and restaurants of Old Town. They also have an entertaining sense of humor about the whole jail thing.

Cons:

I don’t think I realized it would really feel so much like a prison cell for the price we paid. It felt like the only updates they made were a nice bed and adding a shower which I’m sure the jail cell didn’t originally have. Very difficult to get in and out of the bed and to access anything out of our suitcases because of the very limited floor space and lack of furniture. Original jail cell window up at the top of the wall, that’s it. Humorous place to stay, but the jail thing wasn’t a draw to us we just wanted a place near old town and the train during our 22 hour layover in Zurich.

Pros:

Everything!, the perfect location, quiet place, it has a bathroom inside the room, also an elevator and it is clean.
The history of the place is very interesting it was a great experience.

Cons:

There is no air conditioner, just a fan.

Una estancia muy especial
Pros:

Muy especial al tratarse de una carcel convertida en hotel. Han sacado mucho partido a la historia del edificio. Eso que hace que las habitaciones sean las antiguas celdas, por lo que no hay que esperar espacio ni lujos. Pero es parte del encanto ;). Ubicación maravillosa en el puro centro de la ciudad. Muchas facilidades para dejar los equipajes.

Pros:

Die Lage und die Freundlichkeit des Personals waren sehr gut. Beim CheckIn gab es Popcorn. Das ehemalige Insassen-Zimmer ist toll "umgenutzt". Quer gegenüber gibt es einen Coop - praktisch! Auch die Anbindung an die Buslinien ist top.

Cons:

Leider roch es durchgehend recht intensiv auf den Fluren nach Essen und die abendlichen Heimkehrer waren auf den Fluren recht laut (was durch die ehemaligen Gefängnistüren nachvollziehbarerweise nicht bedeutend abgeschottet wurde).

War Komfort und preiswert insgesamt.
Pros:

Die zentrale Lage, alles war in Gehminuten erreichbar und Sauberkeit im Zimmer und im Bad.

Cons:

Die Enge war sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Breakfast, novel rooms, fan, superb location

Cons:

Small rooms (obviously I didn't pay attention to the converted gaol cell but); and it was very hot/muggy (but the fan helped a lot). Felt expensive considering no a/c yet was in Old Town which; loved.

Good for one night stay

Interesting experience to sleep in the prison cell 😄
Good location , reasonable breakfast for additional 13Fr . Good enough for one night stay , wouldn’t recommend for a longer stay, as it’s a tiny cell with not much space to unpack bags
