Lovely hotel
Pros:

We had a lovely two night stay here before heading to the mountains. It was nice that all five of us could fit into one room, and there was still plenty of floor space so we weren't tripping over each other. We loved sitting out on the balcony eating our breakfast pastries from the local bakery. There is a supermarket round the corner, and an even bigger one perhaps 4 minutes walk away. Amazing pizzeria 3 mins walk and fab bakery also 3 mins. But the best element by far was the owner and his wife. They were friendly, kind and helpful and made us feel so welcome. Anything we needed (a large bin bag, extra loo roll) was provided immediately. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. The room itself was immaculate. The city centre is roughly 15 minutes walk, meaning the area around the hotel is slightly less noisy and hectic. The parking was a huge bonus. Would recommend!

The views from the top (room 9) were amazing. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

Wifi was non-existent in the room. Shower was tepid at best. A kettle to make morning coffee would have offset the shower. The lack of Wifi was a killer. I left early.

Pros:

Nothing! It was humiliatingly bad! We have reserved two days but checked out after one day, of course they kept the money for two days.

Cons:

The "hotel" starts on the second floor above a laundry, the reception desk is a kitchen table with a dining room chair.

To get to our room, we took the elevator to the highest floor, where underwear and bed sheets were drying on laundry lines, between dispersed construction material on the floor.. Then climb up a homemade spiral staircase welded from rebars one more story to our room, whose lock was a padlock! And so on. It was all HORRIBLE, this should not be allowed!!!

Pros:

Signori gentilissimi , stanza pulita , larga e spaziosa. Posizione centrale. Per una notte o anche due va benissimo. Forse il prezzo è un po’ alto rispetto ad altri alberghi a Tirana. Chiedono 5 euro al giorno per il parcheggio !!

Un orrore
Pros:

Praticamente nulla, avevamo prenotato due notti, ma dopo la prima siamo scappati

Cons:

La stanza era letteralmente in un cantiere dislocata dall'hotel. L'uomo che presumo fosse il proprietario al nostro arrivo ha preteso che pagassimo in contanti e solo dopo ci ha accompagnati in stanza. Ci ha accompagnati in uno stabile di fianco all'hotel, da cui si accedeva con un ascensore direttamente dalla strada. Dopo aver preso l'ascensore e giunti al primo piano, eravamo letteralmente in un cantiere in piena fase di lavori, non c'era nemmeno la pavimentazione. Siamo poi saluti ulteriormente attraverso una scala a chiocciola che ci portava al piano superiore in cui c'erano sempre dei lavori fin fuori la porta della camera (e ovviamente anche Arseni da lavoro sacchi ecc, un vero e proprio cantiere con anche cavi scoperti). Non so quanto lecito fosse tutto ciò. La camera sembrava un balcone a cui avevano messo delle pareti di cartongesso, difatti una parete della camera era, in realtà, una grossa vetrata con possibilità di essere aperta ma separata dal vuoto, non da un balcone, ma da una ringhiera. Praticamente sotto c'era il vuoto.) Abbiamo trascorso la notte insonne perchè temevamo per la nostra incolumità. Purtroppo non potevamo fuggire subito perché siamo arrivati alle 23:00 e tra l'altro in vista del concerto di Kanye West era tutto sold out ad un prezzo accettabile. La goccia che ha fatto traboccare il vaso è stata al mattino seguente, quando alle 7:30 hanno iniziato i lavori fuori la camera, con picconate e attrezzi assordanti. Non so quanto tutto questo sia normale secondo il parere degli altri, perche poi quando ne abbiamo parlato con la proprietaria nel momento in cui le abbiamo comunicato che avevamo deciso di lasciare la stanza, sembrava che gli strani fossimo noi. Proverò a sentire booking che credo sia responsabile dei clienti che prenotano strutture su questa piattaforma in un certo modo, ho dovuto prenotare la mattina stesso per un altro hotel che mi è costato di più.
