★★★★★ An Unexpected Gem in Užice
Pros:

I stopped at Hotel Siesta for one night during a drive from Montenegro to Belgrade, and it turned out to be one of the best surprises of my entire trip. I've traveled to all seven continents and 55 countries, so that's saying something.

From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warmth of the staff, especially Andela. She was the first to greet me, and she immediately lit up at the sight of my two cats, Jax and Milan, who travel the world with me. Her genuine warmth toward them set the tone for the whole stay. After check-in, she personally carried my luggage to my room without a second thought, made sure I had everything I needed, and checked back in on me before letting me settle in. Her helpfulness wasn't performative, it was clear she takes real pride and joy in her work. Hotels are made by their people, and Andela is an extraordinary example of hospitality done right.

The room itself was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Jax and Milan, seasoned travel cats that they are, approved instantly.

But the real showstopper was the breakfast buffet the next morning. I mean it when I say it was the best breakfast spread I've encountered anywhere in the world. Multiple styles of egg dishes, sausages, fresh fruit, potatoes, breads, cakes and desserts, cheeses and cured meats, gourmet specialties, fresh-squeezed juices, and specialty teas and coffees, all organic, locally sourced, and beautifully prepared. There was genuinely too much to try in one sitting.

And all of this at a shockingly reasonable price. Hotel Siesta over-delivers in every category: comfort, food, and above all, people. If you're passing through Užice, this is not a "just a stopover" hotel, it's a destination in itself.

Pros:

A hotel szép helyen van, folyó mellett. A szobában hagyott kis ajándékok okos ötlet. A vacsora és a reggeli nagyon finom, közép Szerbiának tájételei.

Cons:

Mivel kétszer egy-egy éjszakát töltöttünk a hotelben, nem volt kifogásolni valónk.
