Beautiful building, perfect location only a few minutes from the river. Staff were so kind and when hearing that we were travelling with a baby they upgraded us to a larger room so we’d be more comfortable.

Pros:

Camere e bagni spaziosi, letto comodo, pulizia impeccabile.

Cons:

Colazione un po’ striminzita, mi sarei aspettato viennoiserie di livello più alto.
Quando veniva pulita la stanza non veniva mai aggiunta neanche una bottiglia d’acqua.

Comfortable accommodation in a great location.
Pros:

This is a comfortable, self contained, property immediately adjacent to the main accommodation.

Secure parking is provided. We did not take breakfast but enjoyed our overnight stay.

We particularly enjoyed walking around the town and its waterfront at night.

Short stopover on the way through France to the ferry.
Pros:

Perfect location for the old centre.

Cons:

We had a garden room which smelt damp, a few ants and bugs but that’s probably because it was ground floor and in the garden. Very Average breakfast. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

ac didn't work well. no coffee or minifridge in room. no bar at hotel. door lock broken; repairedsecond day. room chairs uncomfortable. decor blah.

see above shouldhave been what ididn't like. location pretty good. staff friendly tho not particularly helpful. would be nice to get a cup of coffeewitout paying 22 euros for unwanted breakfast.

Posizione eccellente a poca distanza dal castello. Posteggio interno comodissimo. Palazzo di fine 1700 bellissimo sia all’esterno che nelle sale e camere. Colazione ottima

Lovely hotel in centre of town. Parking good, very clean and comfortable, would definitely use it again. Amboise is a stunning little town and a 12kms kayak down the Loire was delightful. A great stop
