Pros:

Toller Ausblick, sehr komfortabel, mehrere Pools, hervorragendes abwechlungsreiches Buffet gleich ob Frühstück oder Abendessen, sehr leckere Dessert. Es gibt reichlich Platz im Speisesaal draußen und drinnen. Die Bar ist durchgehend geöffnet. Toller Wellnessbereich, es gibt einen gemischten Bereich und einen nur für Frauen. Die Wellnessanwendungen waren super. Meine Nichte hat während des Aufenthalts Geburtstag gehabt. In Absprache hat das Hotel unser Zimmer schön hergerichtet und geschmückt, samt Geburtstagskuchen. Es gibt ein Friseursalon und mehrere verschiedene Geschäfte. Auch die poolbar und die Bar am Meer hat gute Speiseangebote wie auch eine gute Auswahl an Getränken. Das Personal vorm Hotel ist äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, man wartet kaum bis sie einem das Fahrzeug übergeben oder ein Taxi rufen.

Cons:

Die Rückmeldungen zu den Öffnungszeiten der Pools war sehr unterschiedlich, ich habe vier verschiedene Mitarbeiter danach gefragt und vier verschiedene Antworten erhalten. Weiter wurde telefonisch ein Willkommenskorb angekündigt, der bis zur Abreise nicht angekommen ist. Wir wollten unseren Aufenthalt um ein paar Stunden verlängern aufgrund der späten Flugzeit, ein Mitarbeiter wollte dies prüfen meldete sich aber nicht mehr zurück, ich empfand diesen auch ein wenig arrogant, auf Nachfrage bei einem anderen Mitarbeiter wurde unser Wunsch aber sofort umgesetzt. Ein wenig irritierend war, dass beim Einlass in den Speisesaal Mal nur nach der Zimmernummer gefragt wurde und mal der Zugang nur mit der Zimmerkarte möglich war. Es wäre super wenn die Mitarbeiter auf dem gleichen Stand sind was Informationen angeht. Das ist aber Meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau. Denn ansonsten war das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Second visit at this heavenly hotel.
Pros:

This is our (mother and daughter - 10y) second stay at Akra and we loved it as much as the first time we were there in 2023. Or actually, loved it even more!
From the moment we checked in (with the help of the excellent Islam in the reception) until the moment we left we have been feeling well taken care of, relaxed, happy, inspired and pampered.
We love travelling and love exploring new places, foods and cultures and really appreciate the fact that many of the guests at Akra are turkish and that the surrounding areas (parks, shops, cafes) are full of locals.
This time, we booked a Mediterranean suite and had the pleasure of having access to the Urban chic lounge where we always were met with excellent service and hospitality throughout the day.
For any cat lovers: (like us) this is a hotel that really takes care of cats of all sizes and regardless of health status. We’ve seen this at both our stays and have met countless cats and kittens in the hotel premises. Such a green flag (but to be expected in Turkey, in a way!).
Thank you for this time around, Akra. We will be back, without a doubt.
