Fijne kamer, maar een beetje onpersoonlijk

De rolstoeltoegankelijke kamer was zeer ruim en goed uitgerust. De badkamer was ook zeer ruim met handgrepen bij toillet en douche. Het ontbijtbuffet was super

Ondanks dat ik de rostoeltoegankelijke kamer had geboekt, toch voor de zekerheid er achteraan gebeld en dat was maar goed ook, want dat was niet zo doorgekomen. Bij aankomst ('s middasgs) via een cijferslotkluis de sleutel ontvangen. Erg onpersoonlijk, het leek verder wel een spookhotel. Niemand te zien of te horen.

was lekker rustig we hebben lekker geslapen

kamer was schoon en de bedden liggen goed
het was ruim genoeg

er was geen airco in de kamer we moesten de ramen zelf open doen
zo warm was het binnen
en bij het ontbijt was de schaal met crossantjes leeg
was niet bij gevuld vroeg ik aan de ober of we crossantjes konden krijgen kom hij met 1 crossantje terwijl we met zn tweeen
zijn en volgende dag is weer hetzelfde lege schaal geen crossantjes
vroeg ik de ober of er nog crossantjes waren kom de ober later met maar 4 stuks
terwijl er meer klanten waren
het was echt slecht moet ik zeggen

Een prima hotel in een landelijke omgeving.
Pros:

Ik verbleef voor een bezoek aan het Wereld Muziek Concours Kerkrade 1 nacht in het hotel.
Hotel Mercator was voor mij een prima overnachtingsplek. Ik kon zonder problemen vroeger inchecken. Kwam later in de avond terug voor de overnachting en had 's morgens een OK ontbijt. Voor mijn doel was het een prima locatie.

Cons:

Ik had 's avond in het hotel nog wel even iets willen drinken. Om 21u is echter alles gesloten.
Op de kamer miste ik wel wat basis informatie over de voorzieningen van het hotel. Zeker omdat ik laat terugkwam had ik geen idee over de tijden van het ontbijt en de mogelijkheid om 's morgens even wat baantjes te trekken in het zwembad.
Nu ben ik een 'vroeg wakker' - mens, dus mij stoorde het niet zo, maar de klokken van de kerk gaan vanaf 6u luiden. Heb toch maar even het raam dichtgedaan, dat was hielp enorm.

We dachten dat we om 15.00uur kond en inchecken,maar het was Ruhetag vrijdag. Dus dat werd om 16.00 uur inchecken. Pas dit aan in de mail.
