Great staff and location, the hotel is dated though!
Pros:

The location was beautiful with a stunning view. The staff was so friendly, and helpful with suggestions. They were always so friendly during meals and everything. The overall cleanliness of the property and rooms was a little dissapointing. The room felt a little run down and dirty, especially the bathroom and shower. It felt like staying at Summer camp rather than a hotel. But if you know that going in I think you would be ok, we were just expecting differently.

Pros:

Boa localização. Mas não recomendo a hospedagem para quem estiver de passagem por Glencoe. Vale mais a pena se hospedar em Fort Agustus, na cidadezinha, pelo custo benefício e qualidade. O hotel parece mais uma colônia de férias.

Cons:

Limpeza deixou a desejar. Nosso quarto tinha teias de aranha na parede e poeira. Café da manhã era ok.

Cons:

Fuyez ! Hotel deplorable. Un manque de personnel effeayant, des fenetres vetustes qui s ouvrent au milieu de la nuit a cause du vent, la queue pour prendre son petit dejeuner ou il n y a plus rien. Mais le meilleur a ete d apprendre en rentrant de randonnee a 19h que l hotel etait fermé en raison d une panne et qu ils avaient oublie de nous appeler ... nous devions donc partir avec nos 2 enfants de nuit sous la pluie et en alerte vent pour 2h de voiture pour rejoindre un autre hotel (hotel qui ne repondait ni au telephone ni au mail). Aucune autre solution proposee ! Deplorable ! Apres 2h de trajet, nous n etions meme pas enregistres dans ce second hotel (qui a quand meme fini par trouver une chambre pour 4). C'est le pire sejour en hotel que nous ayions passe a l etranger.

The warm Highland welcome we received. Very friendly staff. Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Nice pool and sauna. Lovely breakfast with singing waiter 😊.

Cons:

The room was maybe a wee bit chilly on the chilly side for us.

Beautiful location and great room, let down by poor food quality, particularly at the >£300 per night price point.
Pros:

Beautiful setting with water on all sides and very close to the Glencoe valley. Lovely family room. Great walks straight from the hotel.

Cons:

Price at over £300 is punchy and whilst the surroundings live up to that, I don’t think the service and food do. Food in particular was a very weak point, it’s a punchy menu, we had rib eye and mussels which some of the cheaper menu choices (c.£25 & £35). Steak arrived rarer than blue (waiter was visibly quite shocked when said we had asked for medium rare). Serving team dealt with this well, but this was such a big miss / lack of care from kitchen that I wouldn’t trust them on the higher end menu choices (sea food platter - £120), lobster and monkfish tagliatelle £45). Mussels a bit bland also.

Great location for a visit to Glencoe
Pros:

Spacious room and bathroom.

Cons:

Bed was two beds joined together and had a very obvious seam down the center. Staff were a mixed bag when it came to friendliness. Only one of the restaurants was open when we stayed.
