Une arnaque scandaleuse ! Cela ne vaut pas le tiers du prix facturé !

La situation géographique est intéressante mais pas exceptionnelle !

Cons:

Facturer 400€ la nuit est du VOL !!!!
Nuits blanches à cause du bruit de la rue, de l'escalier et de la musique du restaurant le soir et le matin.
Eau jaune qui vous ôte toute envie de prendre un bain !
Chambre vieillotte, isolation inexistante.
Aucune réponse de l'hôtel à notre demande de changement de chambre pour la 2ème nuit.
Ils imposent des heures de petit déjeuner alors que la pièce est immense et aucun service à table.
Aucune compensation financière accordée alors que la prestation n'est vraiment pas à la hauteur de ce qu'ils annoncent, malgré nos multiples demandes.
En synthèse, et on le voit sur les réponses aux avis, ils font le plein car ils accueillent des bus, sont au bord de l'eau et affichent de belles photos mais ils n'ont strictement rien à faire de la satisfaction des clients !

Pros:

Grande chambre, dans la partie "moderne" de l'hôtel. Vue magnifique. Restaurant correct. Bon petit déjeuner. Parking gratuit.

Cons:

Accueil parfois un peu minimaliste. Hôtel un peu isolé.

Ubicación maravillosa, hotel con historia y encanto
Pros:

La ubicación del hotel es fantástica, en un paraje maravilloso con multitud de actividades cerca.
En el restaurante del hotel se come genial, recomiendo la langosta, producto local.
El edificio en si es una atracción turística, con una escalera de madera original que únicamente no gustará a los ninjas que no quieran hacer ruido al subir.

Pour ceux qui aiment les planchers qui craquent et les tentures.
Pros:

L'accès facile et les repas (petits déjeuners et repas du soir) excellents.

Cons:

Comme pour notre séjour en Ecosse au mois d'août : le prix de la chambre est excessif ! Une chambre minuscule qui donne sur la ventilation de la cuisine, avec le bruit et les odeurs qui vont avec !

There is much to admire about The Ballachulish. The rooms are genuinely lovely—spacious, comfortable, and blessed with beautiful views—and the location is hard to fault. The common areas deserve particular mention: cosy, inviting, and perfectly positioned overlooking the loch, they’re just the sort of spaces one hopes to linger in with a book and a view.

Cons:

It is with some reluctance, then, that I must turn to the dining, where the experience rather loses its footing. The service at breakfast and in the restaurant fell short of the warmth one finds elsewhere in the hotel, and the food—it pains me to say—did not justify either the prices or the setting. One rather hopes for more when the surroundings promise so much.

I’ll offer one small observation for the management’s kind attention. Having been served a modest glass of wine one evening, I ordered a large the following night—only to receive a noticeably more generous pour for precisely the same price. I shall let the arithmetic speak for itself, and simply say that a little consistency at the bar would go a long way towards preserving a guest’s trust.
