Scenery
Bed not comfortable, reception staff not welcoming
The location was excellent - especially for access to the mountains around Glencoe. We had a decent sized room. The bed was very comfortable. And the food - especially the breakfast - was excellent.
Nothing
Beautiful hotel and views, nice room, good restaurant, overall a great stay.
Lovely old place, good scenic location. Excellent dining and breakfast.
Staff were generally polite, but on a couple of occasions perhaps could have been slightly more helpful.
Magnifique château
Chambre champêtre et bien équipée
Très bon restaurant
The old scottish feeling
Unfreundliches personal
Qualitativ ungenügendes essen
Architecture partie ancienne du batiment.
Given the high price and compared to the other hotels we stayed at during our trip, we were very disappointed to be given a small room in the annex.
Dinner at the hotel restaurant was equally disappointing: the langoustines were overcooked and served with a tasteless aioli that lacked any garlic flavor. Only the dessert and the wine were okay. Overall, this property offers very poor value for money.
Staff were nice
Room was dated and dull windows were rotten and needed replacing
Fab hotel, food great. Would be a 10 but thought the restaurant could have been better organised. (25 mins from being seated to someone taking our drinks order for example) Food was delicious though. Would definitely rebook.
