Wohlfühlen mit ein bisschen Luft nach oben - auch für 3*
Pros:

Ein rundum angenehmer Aufenthalt im Hotel Annabell, tolle Lage, Zimmer 6 optimal gelegen, da nur Frühsonne, gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obstsalat, feinen Marmeladen und guten Backwaren, sehr angenehm gestaltetes Zimmer auf 3* Niveau, herrlich der Wintergarten oder die Terrasse beim Frühstück. Hallenbad mit Sauna vorhanden, leider kein Außenpool. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Hotel, Buslinie quasi um die Ecke. Eine der gehobenen Wohnviertel in Meran. Kurz man fühlt sich insgesamt wohl und geborgen.

Cons:

Der Kaffee zum Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse leider weit unterdurchschnittlich (egal ob Kaffee, Cappuccino oder Espresso). Keine Kühlmöglichkeit auf dem Zimmer, was bei den hohen Temperaturen wirklich ein Problem ist. Keine Klimaanlage auf dem Zimmer. Durch die Ostseite unsers Zimmers noch in Ordnung, die Zimmer mit Süd-Westausrichtung dürften im Sommer tropische Nächte garantieren. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit der Selbstbereitung von Kaffee, selbst einen Wasserkocher gibt es nicht. Das ist leider nicht zeitgemäß. Das eine oder andere Sitzmöbel dürfte erneuert werden. Kurz: das echt hübsche Annabell muss aufpassen, dass es nicht den Anschluss verliert.

Pros:

Lovely owners, hotel spaces. The owners were warm, accommodating and helpful. Nice morning breakfast buffet in sunny breakfast room. (Best homemade jams ever! I wish i could take them home with me.) Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed. One block from Bus 4, which runs every 15 minutes during the week and every half hour on the weekend (at least on Sundays). The bus goes from and to the train station, which was great, and stops just about anywhere you would go. The hotel is near Pizzeria Tanner, which has excellent pizza and other dishes. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the Castel Gardens (and aviary within), which are absolutely worth seeing.

Cons:

I wish I had known about bus 4 in advance because it is a very long uphill walk, especially if one has a large, heavy backpack. (Yes, I overpacked.) But, a taxi got me there easily and the rest was great. Walking from the train station would have been more doable if I had known about Sissi's path, which also provides access between the town center and the hotel area and is great without the heavy backpack.

Besonders nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber von einem sehr sauberen und schön gelegenen Hotel mit einladendem Wellness- znd Poolbereich.
Supertolles Frühstücksbuffet, das in einem sehr gemütlichen Essbereich keine Wünsche offen lässt.

Cons:

Wenn es überhaupt was gibt, wäre es vielleicht ein kleiner Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer...
