Great little town , great choice of accommodation.
Pros:

Staff were exceptional, they manage 5 properties and are very obliging helping. Bed super comfy. This property is accommodation only. The hotel side isn't open at the moment.

My Stay in Parkes
Pros:

Comfortable bed ...nice decor...lovely clean bathroom area... receptionist was patient and helpful and kind.

Cons:

The numbers were hard to see in night light on the combination to open the door if one hasn't got the reading glasses at hand. No doubt the person who does not need glasses will find it far easier.

Everything except one thing, it has been great.

Cons:

There was only one thing I had a problem with (and that may be because, I'm a 64 year old pensioner with arthritis) the stairs were a problem for me as I'm not as steady on my feet as I used to be, however I realize, there is not a lot that the proprieters can do about that. I did meet one woman, I asked her if she was the owner and she said she was 2nd in charge, she was very helpful and helped me access the free wifi and helped me book another 5 nights I can' remember her name, although the owners will know who I'm talking about. She asked me to let her know if there was anything she could help me with, to just ask. In fact when I said I couldn't work out how to access the wifi, she said she'd come straight over. I appreciated the attention and dedication to, looking after the tenant. Sorry most of this review
should have gone in "What I Did Like" instead of "What I Didn't Like". I hope the owners like my review.

Quick Cheap Stay in Parkes
Pros:

Nice quick self check in.

Cons:

The entrance is via an Iron Back Stairs, which could be risky for the elderly and kids, especially during rain. / The pub below does not operate.

Pros:

Room large clean with good facilities.
Kitchen was handy.
Easy car parking.
Quiet
Good view out of window.

Cons:

Location is ticked away yes GPS took us but looked like and abandoned building with manproof fencing. However tried again drove past that fencing out one driveway into next . Steep steps to climb and door lock took multiple attempts before code worked. Then all ok

Pros:

Plenty of parking at the back, close to everything, walking distances. Room basic, good value, shared bathroom.
Did not like is the flight of stairs to access the rooms. And the bed low to the floor.My needs were met and i made do, with what was available to me.

Good value for money clean and comfortable for a night.
Pros:

Comfy bed, fresh white sheets, lovely addition was the basin small fridge and coffee making extras,
A/C was great. Shared bathroom/toilet as with most pubs also clean…easy access with code to outside door if coming in late. No pub but upstairs accommodation only, with parking out back.

Cons:

A little noisy, no hooks in room to hang towels, just minor.

PARKE UP
Pros:

There are so many hotels in Parkes. I just needed a bed n a good shower., this was great price . On the Main street corner by services club . It has an Authentic Italian Restaraunt down stairs AND Its An ACTUAL ART STUDIO. Very COOL .
The bed was really comfy too
