Pros:

Everything was just as expected; the description of the place is genuine. The location is perfect: walking distance from the Hauptbahnhof and close to another metro station too. The bathroom is nicely done and clean, the room is enough for a short stay, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Cons:

There is a coffee maker, which is nice, but as a tea drinker, I would have appreciated a kettle. Otherwise everything was perfectly fine.

Unpleasant stay and bad experience

I wanted to treat myself to a nice experience by staying somewhere stylish and unique in Vienna. Unfortunately, my stay at Boutique Hotel Kolbeck was far from the experience I had hoped for.
From the moment I entered the hotel, I noticed an unpleasant odour. My room was very small, the mattress was sinking, and the pillow was extremely cheap and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep.

The noise was another major problem. At around 11 pm I could still hear guests talking loudly in Italian. I’m not sure where their voices were coming from, but I could hear them as if they were right outside my window. My window faced the courtyard, which unfortunately became a source of noise early in the morning.

At around 7 am workers in the courtyard started sorting crates of bottles, making a great deal of noise. Then, at approximately 7:30 am a workman began carpentry work, cutting wood and making loud noises throughout the morning. The staff were also chatting loudly, making it almost impossible to relax or get any proper rest.

I decided to treat myself to breakfast as well, but was surprised to find that I had to choose from a limited menu rather than having a proper breakfast selection. I was served eggs covered with something that looked and tasted awful and was completely unappetising.

Overall, this was a very unpleasant stay and certainly not the stylish, relaxing experience I had expected from a boutique hotel. I honestly wish I had stayed in a budget hotel where I would at least have expected a certain basic standard of comfort and service.

Gute Unterkunft für einen Kurztrip nach Wien
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen und die Zimmer sind sauber. Das angebotene Frühstück ist etwas ganz besonderes - sehr gute Produkte und entspannte Atmosphäre. Kein Massenandrang wie sonst im Hotel mit Buffetauswahl üblich. Allein dafür würde ich jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft buchen.

Cons:

Ein wenig mehr Sorgfalt/ Augenmerk wäre gut: das Duschgel wurde nicht aufgefüllt, der Toilettenpapierhalter hing schief, die Glühbirne am Nachttisch funktionierte nicht, eine Steckdose war locker - alles Kleinigkeiten, die nicht wirklich stören, die jedoch auch schnell behoben werden könnten.

Pros:

Comfortable bed and good enough facilities, perfect for a few nights stay. The best thing was the hotel staff at the reception, who helped ne with everything and were so welcoming

Cons:

Solo room is a bit small, no kettle or minibar, and could be a little cleaner, location is good especially if you have a train to catch from the central station, but not that close to the main attractions of vienna (you'll have to take the metro)

Die Nähe vom Bahnhof und den Verkehrsmitteln war sehr gut.

Cons:

Es gibt fast nur Türkische Menschen in dieser Gegend. Sehr viele Geschäfte sind auf diese Leute eingestellt.

To jest wspaniałe miejsce do zwiedzania Wiednia! Dosłownie rzut beretem od dworca ok 6 min. 3 minuty od metra, dookoła pełno sklepów, w których spokojnie zrobisz zakupy - zarówno spożywcze, jak i ubraniowe. Byłam tutaj na 4 dni z przyjaciółką, wszystkie nasze potrzeby zostały zaopiekowanie. My akurat lubimy chodzić, więc dojście do katedry zajęło nam 45 min, ale to wspaniały spacer, czystymi, spokojnymi uliczkami. Śniadanie wybierasz tutaj z karty, nie obawiaj się, jest naprawdę duże i wystarczające, a do tego przepyszne, bardzo żałujemy, że ostatniego dnia nie mogłysmy go zjeść ze względu na bardzo wczesny wyjazd. Pokoje codziennie sprzątane, cicho, na dole restauracja. Jestem świeżo po wyjeździe do Rzymu, w podobnej kwocie - tutaj jest naprawdę wysoki poziom. Serdecznie polecam!
