Far too many stairs too our room. We were on top floor we counted 134 stairs. We should have been made aware of this. We will come back just not on top floor
It was close enough to see everything we needed to, the staff were friendly. It was exceptionally clean I as a housekeeping supervisor couldn't find anything wrong. They told us of the shared bathroom and not to forget the room key .
The fact there was no lift and 67 stairs to go to our room, the mattress was very firm a little too firm for me. I would have liked fruit for breakfast too but they only did Cereal, toast and cooked breakfast. Would i stay again yes i think I would

The room was big, nice and clean, breakfast was quite good, location was fine.
The room was nice and big, but there was nothing in it, just one very small shelf for the tea and coffee kettle, a hair dryer, a mirror and two cups that took up that shelf. There was a puffy under the shelf to sit on, with only one seat in the corner; the wardrobe had only four hangers between the twin beds; there was a tiny shelf, just big enough for two cups and the TV remote; the shower room was small but nice and clean.
The location was good.
The room was dusty, loud and uncomfortable. There was music on until 3am which was so loud 2 floors up that the bed was vibrating from the bass. Finally after the music stopped there was then a half an hour period of drunk people trying to get into their rooms and slamming doors to be topped off with one person trying to get into my room. I have never had so little sleep in a hotel.

The noise from the bar was horrendous!
The bar was open until 3am, which is totally understandable due to the festival in the town but the noise was deafening while in the hotel room.
The bar was full of very young adults. Some didn't even look to be the appropriate age to be in a bar at 3am. Staff having to clean vomit up on the bar floor, fighting just outside the bar.
Honest opinion is it should be stated in the information about the hotel that it's a very, very noisy stay and then people can make the choice whether the hotel would be suitable for them or not.
