Lage des Hotels top, Personal nett, Zimmer Wachau sollte im Duschbereich dringend umgebaut werden.

Cons:

Wenn man duscht, ist das ganze Wasser im halben Zimmer. Absolute Rutschgefahr und gefährlich, da dort eine Kante ist. Da muss unbedingt etwas geändert werden. Und die Reinigung ist nicht gut.

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage in der Altstadt und verwöhnt die Gäste mit tollen Zimmern.
Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage in der wirklich schönen Altstadt Alkmaars. Nur wenige Schritte entfernt befinden sich diverse Restaurants und Pubs. Auch das Hotel selbst hat ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Das Viertel ist mit Krachten durchzogen.

Cons:

Es gibt in der Tat nur eine Sache, die etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist... das Bad ist sozusagen ein offener Bereich ohne Tür.

Other than transporting luggage from a car, the location was excellent; very central to the old town.

Cons:

We were disappointed with our room description and didn’t feel it was completely accurate : The patio/terrace with views of an inner courtyard views was a small L-shape decked area surrounded by fencing looking onto closeby building walls and air conditioning equipment from the kitchen below. When this was on, it obviously made noise. There were no wardrobes, as stated, nor shelves. The bathroom area was exclusive to us but not ‘private’, in that there are no doors. This arrangement may not suit all co-habitants. It maybe helpful for future guests to be aware of this. In addition : we think we were overcharged City tax which we believe is a fixed,defined sum. We could not verify the €5 p.p per night charged, nor could the Alkmaar Tourist Office. The hotel refused to review or amend this. We were told breakfast was from 9-11. The first morning we could not be served at 10.02 as the kitchen had closed, bearing in mind breakfast is a set menu. The only cooked element is a boiled egg. Our room was not made up or cleaned ,despite requests and assurances it would be. Towels were thin, and torn with holes.

Ontbijt is prima. Alles ruim voldoende. Fijne locatie.

Cons:

Toilet op de kamers zijn niet apart. Sommige kamers zelfs zonder deur.

Central, plein de charme, petit déjeuner correct, la ville d’Alkmaar est très agréable

Pas de porte entre sanitaire et chambre… poubelle de salle de bain non vidée

Pros:

Ontbijt was prima, niet overdadig maar voldoende en vers. Locatie perfect!

Cons:

We zijn tevreden maar onze kamer was niet erg schoon. Er lag nog een vieze handdoek en stofvlokken door de ruimte. Doordat de locatie perfect was en we druk waren hebben we niet de moeite genomen om dit te melden.
