perfect location with friendly old world charm
Pros:

In the middle of the nice old quarter of Alkmaar. Very nice restaurant downstairs. Comfortable room, but with a bit of street noise from the narrow pedestrian street. Very friendly atmosphere and lots of character in these old houses.

Cons:

A shower curtain would have been a welcome improvement, as the whole bathroom was wet and slippery after using the shower.

Excellent location.

Cons:

The room has a bathroom and a toilet as part of the room. Very unpleasant. At night you can hear the air conditioning and the units from the kitchen. Very unpleasant.
Not suitable for tourists with their own car, it is almost impossible to park in the area, the garage is about 800 meters away.

Cons:

La habitación estaba sucia cuando llegamos, sobre todo el baño que estaba atascado pero no nos hicieron caso. Además hubo días que no entraron a limpiar la habitación. No había personal para atenderte en muchos momentos, no se puede considerar hotel.

Een heerlijk en comfortabel hotel op een perfecte plek in de stad.
Pros:

De locatie is echt top, zo midden in het centrum. Onze kamer was lekker ruim met een fijne badkamer en een goed werkende airco, wat erg prettig was. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en heel uitgebreid. Bonuspunten voor de uitstekende koffie die je zomaar op de gang kunt pakken, en het personeel was vriendelijk.

Cons:

Eigenlijk was alles prima voor elkaar, enige is de open badkamer met wc die kan als hinderlijk ervaren worden.
