Pros:

Ganz tolles Personal, hilfsbereit und freundlich mit beispielhaftem Zusammenhalt (Küche, Ausschank, Bedienung, Rezeption). Tolles Essen, sehr lecker. Super Lage direkt am Rhein und sehr nahe zum Bahnhof. War alles ausgezeichnet und doch familiär.

Great experience, welcoming staff, would stay here again
Pros:

The location was perfect as it was only a few minutes walk to the cathedral and other sites/ shops. It was generally quiet in the room. Having aircon available was great due to the hot weather but there was an option to open the windows which we appreciated. Everything was clean and of a good standard. The staff were lovely and accommodating

Cons:

The light in the corner of the room didn’t seem to work so in the evening it felt a bit dark in the room as there was no natural light coming in. At times the light bulb in the bathroom was flickering.

Wonderful weekend in beautiful Cologne
Pros:

Fantastic location, 5 minute walk to the Cathedral, a further 3 minutes from there to the central train station. The hotel itself is set just back from the river frontage in the old town area of Cologne where there are charming town squares, lots of traditional bars and too many restaurants to choose from! It felt very safe to walk around even at night time. The staff at Hotel Prevot are wonderful! They all spoke great English and made every effort to make us feel welcome. Special thanks must go to Nadine who was so lovely to us every time we Spoke with her and made us feel like valued friends not just guests. The room itself was spacious with a lovely modern bathroom and the beds were very comfortable even the sofa bed our daughter slept on. The mini bar/fridge and coffee machine are nice little extras.

Cons:

Just a couple of things to note, the staff seem to shut the bar/restaurant early if it is not busy which meant we were unable to enjoy an evening drink at the hotel after our days out. We returned most evenings around 9.30pm.
Also, there is no actual kettle or tea making facilities in the room just the coffee machine, probably only a downside for English visitors 😁

Couldn’t have picked a better hotel

Nothing. There was no room available for us, which they only told us when we arrived in the evening. Evencthiugh they conformer the stay a couple of hours before.

Middelmatig hotel met weinig faciliteiten

locatie aan de Rijn

Cons:

Kamer was niet schoon gemaakt bij aankomst. De nieuwe kamer had een vocht probleem en was ook niet helemaal schoon. Plinten waren vergaan door het vocht probleem. Ontbijt was alleen mogelijk door vooraf te bestellen wat je wil eten. Koffie was slap.
Deluxe kamer met balkon betekend een balkon van 20cm.
Geen 4 sterren waard.

Recommend the Prevot; its a hidden gem. Perfect location, great restaurant, friendly team.
Pros:

Very easy check-in.
The room was exactly as described; great view.
It was quiet, even during a busy period.
Restaurant downstairs was great, convenient, comfortable to hang out.
Taxi drop-off and pick up steps from the door.

Cons:

Nothing. They did a great job.

Pros:

sehr komforables und großes Bett, sehr freundliches Personal, Handtücher wurden jeden Tag getauscht, sehr zentrale Lage

Cons:

Zimmer, vor allem Boden und Kasten sehr staubig und nicht sauber, das Duschgel war bei der Ankunft fast leer, eine Wandlampe kaputt, die Tempobox im Badezimmer war nach drei Tüchern leer und wurde nicht mehr aufgefüllt. Da kann das Hotel nichts dafür: Wir hatten das Zimmer Richtung Kölner Treff (Kneipe und Karaoke Bar). Da ist wochenends dann sehr laute Musik bis 02:00 nachts (wobei die Fenster des Hotelzimmers den Lärm sehr gut abgefangen haben)
