Important information:

The hotel is fortunate enough to have the largest city center car park in Wells. However, the spaces are limited and are on a first come, first served basis.

Please note that our restaurant can get busy and booking is advisable.

Due to the age and construction of the property there is no elevator access to higher floors- if this is an issue please contact the hotel who will be happy to assist you in allocating the right room for your needs.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Fabulous central friendly hotel
Pros:

Location, free parking at the hotel. Very friendly, helpful and service minded staff. Stayed in the coach house, lovely bedroom, spacious comfortable and extremely quiet.

Cons:

Nothing not to like.

Not a good impression
Pros:

Location was excellent.

Cons:

Water pressure low for shower and came in spurts in basin. Evening meal was disaster. Fish had to be returned because of smell and then dessert also had to be returned as was uncooked. Ended up having icecream only.

We had a nice stay but we’re not happy about the number of ants in our room.
Pros:

Great location. Room was quiet.

Cons:

Our room was very warm. We had an ant problem ( in our bathroom, bedroom and on our bed).

Great location but some shortcomings
Pros:

Food was excellent. Location top class and staff very friendly and helpful

Cons:

Parking was a shambles and difficult to access. Ensuite had no where to put items in the shower (shelf etc) and one of the hand towels was a bit like a floor mat.

Séjour parfait! L'emplacement est idéal, en face de la cathédrale et au centre.Nous avons pu profiter du parking dès le matin. MERCI 👍 à tous le personnel pour leur gentillesse, leur serviabilité, leur sourire 😃
Nous avons tout adoré : la chambre, le silence, la décoration, le petit déjeuner exceptionnel, nous avons dîner un soir vraiment très bien et très bon .C'est un séjour anglais très beau...

Tudo maravilhoso. O hotel é lindo e os funcionários muito gentis.

Tudo estava perfeito, mas a noite o barulho da rua para o quarto era um pouco alto, a comida achei razoável.

Park on site, good breakfast, room very spacious. Great location. Thete will be stairs so an overnight bag is better than a suitcase.

Enjoyed stay very much and would stay at The Swan again.
Pros:

Room was excellent. Staff were very helpful Food was very good.

Cons:

Shower in bathroom was not very good needs renewing. Access to car park was a bit cramped with the scaffolding in the drive in the way.

Limited options and timing for Food especially Asian (South).
