Sehr interessantes Hotel, hat uns gut gefallen, gerne wieder

Lage war super, Frühstück gewöhnungsbedürftig aber voll ok. Frühstücksraum sehr eng und voll, aber Personal absolut aufmerksam und hilfsbereit

Cons:

Lampe mit eingebauten Ventilator war gruselig, passte nicht in das Ambiete, eher Badbeleuchtung. Bedienung der Lampe nicht selbstredend, für ältere Menschen wie wir, aber das Licht war sehr ungemütlich. Sonst alles originell und klasse

Nice breakfast and close to each place

It was some confused situation during my arriving. The hotel address was different that present in final message (300 m).
I did not receive clear explanation for late arriving and did not receive key safe code. We are waiting for hotel worker about 20 minutes till he brings the code. The hotel is in central night noisy place with bad acoustic preventing

Mooi en fijn verblijf
Pros:

Prachtig fijn kamertje had ik met alles erop en eraan. De kaasmarkt 106. Super leuk zitje in de vensterbank van het dakkapel gemaakt. Heel erg sfeervol en voelde me verwend.

Cons:

Het enige minpuntje was dat het heel erg warm op de kamer was door de zomerse dagen vooraf. Ondanks de plafon ventilator was de nacht erg warm. Met een open raampje slapen was door ligging dichtbij de weg voor mij niet echt een optie.

vriendelijkheid personeel, super goed ontbijt.

Cons:

gehorigheid van de kamer. We zaten in een apart gebouw en niet in het hotel zelf. Een zolderkamer in een niet geïsoleerd waardoor men al het verkeer van buiten hoorde. Ok men kreeg oordopjes op het hoofdkussen maar wij verdragen dit niet. Dus beide heeeeeeeeeeeel slecht geslapen.

Fantastic Location and would recommend
Pros:

Fantastic Location as plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was great. Room was very comfortable and great value for money. Would love to go back! :-)

Cons:

Breakfast was great but could have more options for Gluten free guests. Room not easy to get to if you cannot manage stairs as we had a family room which was on the top floor and there are a lot of stairs to get you up to the room and there is no lift. You would be fine on the ground floor. There was also no air conditioning and the fan didn't work so had to have the Velux windows open wide to get air into a very hot room but having said that I would stay there again as cannot get a better location and value for money. :-)

A Week in Alkmaar
Pros:

The location was excellent

Cons:

No Lift so be sure to book a ground floor room as it is an old building with narrow stairs
The bed wasn't the best quality either
