Kleines, feines Hotel wo alles hat was es braucht für eine Städtereise.
Pros:

Sehr nahe am Bahnhof und U Bahn. Gut ausgestattete Zimmer.

Cons:

Die Lage des Hotels ist in einer Gegend wo wir (zwei Frauen) uns Abends leider nicht so wohl gefühlt haben.

Nice Hotel but felt unsafe in the area
Pros:

We liked Wolfgang he was very helpful

Cons:

The hotel is clean and quirky which we liked and close to railway station. But the area is very sketchy, with alot of people roaming the streets, in the evenings and late at night which makes you feel very unsafe.

Pros:

The Host was friendly, Helpful, served us a very good breakfast.

Cons:

Nothing because we knew before hand that hotel is in old part of town. We just stayed in hotel after dark.

Cons:

Leider konnte ich das bezahlte Frühstück nicht einnehmen da der Frühstücksraum nicht zugänglich war um 9uhr und es wurde mir mitgeteilt von der Putzfrau das erst in 30min jemand kommt für Frühstück

Pros:

What was nice? Being greeted by a person who did everything the old way. Writes out a receipt with a pen and stamps it. The building is old but has character. Friendly staff and helpful.

Cons:

If you don't mind the climb up the stairs, the filthy sketchy kinda don't talk to anyone environment in the area, then there was nothing to dislike.

Hotel Alt Nürnberg is a charming, historic hotel with plenty of character and a welcoming atmosphere. The room was well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and the addition of a coffee machine was a particularly nice touch.

The staff provided a friendly and warm greeting upon arrival, which made check-in smooth and pleasant. The bathroom amenities were also of good quality, adding to the overall comfort of the stay.

I chose this hotel mainly for its convenient location close to the train station, as we had an early departure on an ICE train to Copenhagen the next morning. For this purpose, it worked perfectly.

Cons:

However, the surrounding area was not ideal. The street in front of the hotel was noisy and did not feel safe, and the nearby streets also felt quite rough and uncomfortable, especially in the evening, with groups of people lingering around. Because of this, I would only recommend staying here if proximity to the station is essential for your plans.
