The hotel is located 1640 feet from the Bressay ferry terminal. The ferry service is available hourly from 07:00 until 23:00. On Fridays and Saturdays the ferry is available until 01:00. The crossing takes 7 minutes.

The property was clean, spacious, and had beautiful views.
We had to pay $25 dollars a day to get the ferry to the mainland of Shetland.
Friendly People. Great food. Regular( half hour) ferry makes this a better place to stay than at Lerwick. Trip is only 10 minutes across to Lerwick.
Would have been better off with a car to see Bressay as there are no busses .

An old property that has been lovingly upgraded. The guest rooms are beautifully decorated, large with high ceilings. Comfortable beds, large bathroom and lovely large fluffy towels!
Breakfast was lovely, and the evening meals we had were delicious, beautifully cooked and presented.

Maryfield House is a beautiful rural hideaway on Shetland’s Bressay. It’s a 7 minute ferry ride to Lerwick village and makes for a very special location. The added bonus is Nellie’s beautiful dinners for those staying in house which is fantastic after a day of touring amazing Shetland. Maryfield won’t disappoint! Thank you 🏴

We've had the most wonderful stay at this friendly, comfortable, and welcoming hotel.
Close to Bressay ferry terminal it's a regular and short (7 min) crossing back to Lerwick. The hotel is peaceful and has beautiful views from every window.
The evening menu is delicious, there is a well-stocked bar and an amazing whisky collection. The hotel owners know their stuff and provide exceptional guest comforts. Breakfast has been a definite highlight, setting us up well for long days of walking and exploring.

The location next to the ferry was great. The hotel is very clean and the owners are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and so was dinner. The room was large and very comfortable. We enjoyed stopping in at the bar after a long day where the locals were friendly and chatty.
