Not a place to rest, this is for sure.
Pros:

Food was genuinely excellent, real credit to the kitchen. Reception staff polite on neutral requests (restaurant tips, airport taxi arranged promptly). The property is beautiful.

Cons:

Important for future guests to know: despite how OKU Kos is marketed (wellness, serenity, slow living, sanctuary), this is not a hotel where you will find peace and quiet. It operates as a lively, music-driven property, and that fundamental mismatch between the brand promise and the actual experience is the core issue that ruined our stay.

Loud DJ music by the pool until 11 pm, clearly audible in our room with the windows closed. A "Party with the Chefs" event scheduled for the following evening (13.10.2026) was never mentioned at booking or during check-in. For a hotel sold on rest, this is unacceptable.

20–30 mosquitoes in our room, continuously reappearing. Photos available. Not acceptable for a 5-star property.

When we asked to change rooms due to the mentioned issues, the reception had no authority to reallocate us and told us to wait until the next day. We left earlier instead, since we couldn't sleep nor rest.

At check-out, a newly arrived guest was openly vaping indoors in the welcome lounge, with no staff intervention. An odd final impression for an adults-only 5-star.

Staff enter the room in your absence and move your personal belongings, not simply tidying them, but displacing them. We found this intrusive and inappropriate for a property of this category, where guest privacy should be a given.

On accountability: when we asked about a refund for the unused night, the hotel told us to "contact Booking." The service failures were the hotel's ( the noise, the undisclosed event, the mosquitoes, the lack of staff authority ) but the responsibility was deflected to the platform, which obviously will result in no refund at all.

A property charging these rates cannot take payment, deliver this experience, and then disclaim the outcome.

Bottom line: a hotel of this category must deliver rest and transparency. We experienced neither.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit traumhaftem Strand, das wir gerne wieder besuchen, mit etwas Luft nach oben für einen rundum
Pros:

Überragende Lage und wunderschöner Strand. Viele herzliche Mitarbeitende, besonders das Housekeeping war grossartig. Bereits unser zweiter Aufenthalt.

Cons:

Häufige Aufpreisangebote trotz Halbpension, hohe Getränkepreise und ein zu präsentes Trinkgeldthema störten die Entspannung. Beim Abendessen fehlten Abwechslung und leichtere Desserts. Zudem ein unberechtigter Minibarposten auf der Schlussrechnung. Einen ähnlichen Fall hatten wir zuvor in einer Bewertung gelesen.

Cons:

Insgesamt war der Service nicht auf dem Level wo er auf dem Niveau sein sollte. Unaufmerksam und teilweise sehr lange Wartezeiten.

Entspannter Luxusurlaub an Traumstrand mit schlechtem Internetempfang

Die Anlage ist weiterhin traumhaft schön. Wir waren zum dritten Mal dort, das sagt schon viel ... Housekeeping war toll und sehr freundlich, so wie auch alle anderen Mitarbeiter. Es gibt genug Liegen am Strand, nur am Pool wird es manchmal etwas eng. Frühstücksbuffet ist riesig, merkwürdigerweise fehlt Bircher Müsli, was eigentlich ein 5 Sterne Standard ist. Die Zimmer und auch die kleinen Privatpools sind mustergültig sauber und extrem gepflegt.

Cons:

Das Internet war eine KATASTROPHE, leider. Es brach Immer wieder zusammen, nicht nur am Strand, sondern auch im Zimmer. In meiner Erinnerung war das früher anders, aber ich könnte mich täuschen. Aktuell ist das Hotel daher für remote Arbeiten nicht geeignet. Und man braucht unbedingt ein Auto, weil das Hotel echt in the middle of nowhere liegt. Leider wird nebenan ein massiger Betonklotz errichtet, es gab keinen Baulärm, zum Glück, aber der Anblick ist natürlich nicht so toll.

Leider Pool vom Zimmer etwas kalt, konnten leider nicht baden und grosser Pool vom Hotel ein wenig klein. Abendessen war teuer!

Effortless Luxury, Incredible Pools & Amazing Breakfast
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Oku Kos. The architecture and design are breathtaking, and the pool and beach areas are beautifully laid out for total relaxation. Plus, the breakfast leaves absolutely no wishes unfulfilled! The service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is effortlessly chic. Highly recommend for a high-end, relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back!

Cons:

The only minor downside was at checkout: our final bill included a few items we hadn't actually consumed. While it was sorted out, it's something the team should double-check.

Pros:

Un resort adults only che vale l pena visitare. Avere una piscina privata e poter godere della pace del posto vale il viaggio. Lo staff gentilissimo sempre attento.

Cons:

Dallo scorso anno credo che qualche manutenzione in piu per mantenere il livello al massimo possa aiutare. Anche variare un po il menu ogni tot giorni magari lo renderebbe ancora piu d'élite .
