More than exceptional! The hotel has a very elegant aesthetic, it is a neoclassical building that gives a classy vibe. The room was very comfortable, spacious with a lovely balcony. It's located at a 3 minutes walk from the beach of Methoni and from the hotel you can reach everything on foot, since the town is very small. The owner, Nikos, is very friendly and was happy to provide information about nearby attractions/beaches, answering all our questions. Last but not least, the breakfast was absolutely amazing! It was made with fresh, authentic and healthy products; it really felt like having breakfast at home rather than in a hotel!
Overall, it was an experience we will definitely be looking forward to having again!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Ulysses. Nikos and his wife are incredibly kind and welcoming. The breakfast, served at the table, was delicious, and the pergola is a lovely place to relax in the shade. The hotel is just a few steps from the sea, in a peaceful and relaxing location. Highly recommended!

Η τοποθεσία του ξενοδοχείου, που ήταν σε πολύ καλό σημείο, κοντά σε όλα. Αγορά, παραλία, πλατεία, εστιατόρια κλπ. Δεν πήραμε ποτέ το αυτοκίνητο, για μετακινήσεις μέσα στη Μεθώνη. Επίσης το ύφος του ξενοδοχείου & όλη η αύρα της ηρεμίας, που συνέβαλε στην ξεκούραση μας.

Un hôtel charmant, très agréable au centre ville, tout près de la plage. Un accueil chaleureux et attentionné.

This is a beautiful small hotel in a great location with friendly and helpful owners Nikos & Egle. We stayed for more than 2 weeks in June/July 2026 and loved it. Situated in a quiet area but close to the village amenities and Methoni Castle. Just a few minutes walk from restaurants, a few bars, and the beach - which is great for swimming being shallow and sheltered with a sandy sea-bed. Our room was well maintained and clean with comfortable beds and effective air-con. The bathroom had a good walk in shower unit with glass closing doors which stops the floor getting soaked as we've experienced in many other accommodations in Greece. Sleep quality was good with no street noise. In fact we were told a wedding celebration, at a nearby restaurant, had gone on until 6am in the morning and we weren't disturbed by it with our windows and shutters closed and the air conditioning on. A substantial vegetarian breakfast is served every day in a lovely shady and peaceful garden terrace. The hotel decor is really nice with use of marble, art pieces and some classic furniture. Recommended!!

Es ist eine Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage. Das Personal freundlich und stets bereit. Ein eigener Strand direkt vor der Tür. Die Lage, bestens um Ausflüge zu gestalten. Sehr Gut!

I loved this hotel. It was a home away from home. Lovely service and they had what we needed. Sometimes they provided services that weren’t included in the stay. Cute touches, nice amenities, great breakfast, good location to the beach and castle. If I ever go back I am only staying here.

This is a lovely family run small Greek hotel in a super spot in the town of Methoni. Our room had a lovely view over to the castle walls and was kept very clean every day. On the lovely shaded patio they serve a very tasty Greek breakfast with eggs, savoury pastries, Greek yoghurt, fruit and cakes that can last you through the day . Methoni has a lovely variety of restaurants and a hire car is very useful to get you to the nearby towns, beaches and historical sites.

Staff were amazing, the owner was kind. Great location, authentic Greek breakfast ever morning, the outdoor space was amazing. Beds a room cozy and perfect amenities. Best place ever!

The hotel has only 9 rooms and it is very familial. The owner Nico is extremely helpful and provides recommendations for different things to be seen and to be done. When we arrived we was offered a welcome drink on the terrasse The room was very clean and nice. The breakfast was extremely good and was taken in the terrasse. It continued of only local products and was also vegetarian. The house was in very quiet area (all areas in Methoni is quite).
When going back to Methoni this will be my first chose of hotel.

Εξαιρετικά φιλικοί οι ιδιοκτήτες. Φροντισμένο όλο το κατάλυμα με προσεκτικές πινελιές άνεσης. Το δωμάτιο είχε τα πάντα. Η καθαριότητα εξαιρετική.
Στα συν η ωραία και δρσερή αυλή και το πολύ φροντισμένο πρωινό που περιελάμβανε τα πάντα.
Η τοποθεσία απίστευτα βολική και με εύκολο παρκάρισμα.
Θα πηγαίναμε ξανά και θα το συστήναμε ανεπιφύλακτα

Leuk kleinschalig hotel met fijne sfeer en gunstige ligging. Vriendelijk ontvangen en goed ontbijt. Goede Olijfolie meegekregen bij vertrek.

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst door de eigenaar.
Mooie ruime kamer op een mooie centrale plek. En heerlijk ontbijt in de schaduwrijke tuin.
